One thing I love about this channel and you, is you always set the good example. The fact that you never keep a fish you aren't supposed to, always measure size, you check if you don't know when a fish is in season and you do it quickly as to get the fish back if its not. You always let one frog, bait fish, take home fish or whatever else it is you're on the hunt for go as a thank you and sign of respect to the animals and the habitat for the opportunity to get out and feed yourself and your family off of it. You simply set a good example for generations to come and you do the right thing even when it isn't the desirable or easy thing to do. I wish more understood past face value and saw what Deer Meat for Dinner stands for and why you do what you do and the people you are. Some of us see it and we know it, keep doing what you're doing, the world needs more of it.
I really appreciate how you gave most of the camera time to Brant. It made the video different and it was exciting to see him really enjoy his first time fishing.

Technique is everything. Holding your rod correctly will help land those nice fish and reduces fatigue. It never ceases to amaze me when I see people thumb the spool when the fish makes a run. Trust that you set your drag right(if you set it beforehand)

I just watched the latest Deer Mom showing Walt Disney World & thank you for bringing up more good memories which I had with my oldest granddaughter 30 years ago. The whole parade & running around was the same for her & myself as her mom & dad were more interested in doing there adult stuff with my youngest son. I took pictures of her experience the old way (No phone camera) & a couple of months ago I sent her a lot of pictures that included her at the them park. It is so lucky you can take pictures on your phone to have memories that you can send to your parents now as well see them 30 years from now. Keep having fun with the girls because 30 years go by fast.

Just watch the video about your catching pompano and having them cooked a Captain Hiram's. My mother lives right there in Sebastian about 3 miles from the restaurant. They got about the best seafood around, a really great place to eat. I love your videos !!
