I could have sworn I saw on their website where every truck had to have at least a fender mirror on the right side? Is that still a thing? I can't see a Long Nose Pete or KW driver putting one on their trucks....
I was a log hauler before I had to retire due to health problems. I use to see a lot of these trucks on the road. I am glad I found your video.I find it very interesting. I hope you keep the videos coming. Thank You for sharing.
I just bought a house getting everything hooked up I am seriously thinking about leaving Maverick but it will probably be after winter the first of the year March or April I can't right now I got too much on my plate but I will definitely keep you in mind brother and I will definitely keep watching your videos so keep me posted
Congratulations on the move to O/O. That's a BIG LEAP, but after watching your channel for these past couple of years, I have no doubt you will be successful. I have also followed a number of Oakley drivers and you are in a good spot I would say. As always, STAY SAFE!!
I just finished orientation and im under my first load. Still haven't got with my trainer. I hope I come across him when its time to dump because I'm nervous as can be.
Best of luck on the new journey. Pulled many different trls. End dumps are the most scary to run, but if you respect them, they usually play nice.I don't think you could pay me enough money to run a framless trailer.
Congratulations and welcome to the world of end dumps ! If no one’s told you yet there are 2 types of guys that pull end dumps ones that haves tipped it over and ones that haven’t lol . I’m still in the haven’ts and hope you and I stay on that type ! Look forward to the end dump videos ! Maybe I’ll see ya at Oakleys river terminal in Cahokia Il .
Well seems everyone is going to Oakley Trucking to work. A few months ago I started watching Jimmy’s Road Lyfe who had just started with Oakley.Check him out seems a nice guy,he’s also end dump.Good luck, look’s a lot easier than tarps.
At 1 point I did a ton of work on big 50' yachts on Lake Texoma...a customer bought a brand new Carver in Miami and explained the route the boat traveled to make it to Lake Texoma.....I never knew the ports off of Arkansas River...traveled up Mississippi River to Arkansas River and into Oklahoma..before being trucked to the lake
Your ‘new’ Pete is from my company. Since I just turned in a 2019 in October and got a new truck, it would be crazy if you bought my truck. Hope it treats you good!
Good luck with the new job Ron. I worked for several years on bulk tippers and really enjoyed the variety of jobs - grain, animal feed, aggregates, road salt and sugarbeet. You sometimes have to work hard keeping your trailer clean especially if you have just done a load of wet gravel and need to load malting barley or milling wheat ! We don't have hopper bottom trailers in the UK, everything is through the back door ! Really looking forward to seeing your new videos 👍
Have fun in the job be safe make sure the product you carry does not stick in the top up near the hoist they can fall over easy if the load get suck .best of luck tho .
@@paperboytrucker5275 Well one immutable fact of ADG life, you are throwing papers and selling subscriptions so often that you wear that shirt more than any other item in your wardrobe. by the way, its Jason R. ZM
Good video Ron check out super trucker Dan channel he is an owner operator with Mercer transportation flatbed, and he explained in his video of what the truck needs to make to be profitable on the road I met Dan he is a good guy I was an OO for Bennett motor express for a few years .

A company in Youngstown Ohio does those pneumatic trailers where you have to have the blower pressurize to blow out plastic beads
I would put some half fenders on that beauty protect that sleeper paint

Just so you know, the service interval on those was 60,000 miles between oil changes. 30,000 between lube and filter changes.
