- Check out an up-close, thorough walk around of the all new 2025 Maverick. Some things have changed! Others not so much. I've really tried to give you my honest thoughts as a new Maverick owner. Opinions are why you're here! I'm sharing mine you can share yours.
Please excuse the lack of film 'finesse'. I'm doing this because it's fun and I happen to have something new others would like to see. Enjoy.
I also never considered a truck, until the Maverick Hybrid. It's what I needed, a car shaped like a truck with good mileage and AWD.
I was planning on getting a Prius. Never thought about a truck either. Getting a Lariat now. :)
Being a past Maverick owner about the rear center seatbelt alert… You mentioned that two of the rear seats were occupied, I can almost guarantee you that the right rear passenger tried to buckle the seatbelt into the wrong buckle. Once it’s attempted, it will ding constantly until you turn the vehicle off. I had to educate my passengers everytime they got in the back. Haha
Shit! that probably it! I'll be more aware next time
It’s unbelievable how annoying it becomes, such a great reminder to always where a seatbelt.
I watch a lot of car reviews, and you’ve covered some unique perspectives and opinions that really gets the point across. Thanks for that.
Appreciate that!
keep it up. better review than most YT car journalist. need honest reviews instead of marketing ones.
We ordered this exact truck in the space white (without the sun roof). Our first Ford too! We paid 39K. Yes it's expensive but the savings in fuel for us is one of the biggest reasons we chose it over other mid size SUVs. Great review, thank you!
It cost more because it’s AWD and more convenient features
Great video! Definitely the most comprehensive video of the ‘25 refresh I’ve seen so far.
I got a '24 Lariat in October. Love it. Yes, it was a little expensive, but much cheaper than an F150! So far, loving it - especially the amenities like you mention.
I got my ‘23 hybrid xlt in October of ‘23 and I already got 51k miles. It’s been a wonderful truck and I can’t wait to upgrade to the AWD system next year. As someone that never owned a truck til a year ago, i love the offroad ability (I put cooper all terrains on) and the tow capacity. Gosh I use my truck for everything now lol. Great choice.
@@Joemama_515 what size tires? And did your mpg go down? I just bought a 24 hybrid a few months ago and might do something similar in the future, thank you
@ they are 235/65R17 cooper discoverer road + trail at’s, yes my mpg has gone down from 37 to 34. The tradeoff is a wider and aggressive stance with more off-road capability. Plus they stick to the road much better than the stock continentals my truck came with, the coopers are excellent in bad weather conditions.
@@Joemama_515 that’s awesome! Thank you, much appreciated!
I appreciated you nice and honest video. I like that you didn't have the fancy editing and all that. Just gave us the info.
please add another follow-up review
My 2025 Ford Maverick AWD XL will be coming in soon. Im so excited for it. I never bought a new vehicle in life till now. Im making mine a mini truck. Mine cost me 31,125.96 . Good video Bro.
I own a 2023 XL Hybrid. After 30k I haven’t had one issue. I added Katzkin leather and upgraded the wheels and tires. The only thing I miss is a power seat. Enjoy your new truck !!
Waiting for my 2025 to arrive, Jan4-Jan12 delivery. I currently have a 2022 Awd . I must say , it has been a wonderful trouble free truck. As far as the $ 40,000 price tag , let us not forget he has a sun roof, which will run up the price. My Lariat came it at 38,000 and some change , nicely optioned.
Congratulations on your new Maverick. I think you will continue to appreciate and enjoy driving your new truck. It's not as small as you think. Look at the head and leg room compared to your land cruiser. Also about the same ground clearance but a whole lot easier getting in or out of the Maverick. Also road trip with 5 people there may not be enough room for luggage with the land cruiser but should have room to spare on the Maverick. Only negative that I have heard make sure you adjust volume in the back speakers if you have passengers in the back, just heads up.
Specific dimensions (approximate):
Land Cruiser rear legroom: 26.7 inches
Land Cruiser rear headroom: 35.3 inches
Maverick rear legroom: 36.9 inches
Maverick rear headroom: 39.6 inches
I was looking at a Honda Ridgeline the other day while I was getting my CRV serviced and I think the Maverick has a bigger bed than the Ridgeline even though it is a bigger and more expensive truck
This video was more helpful than any of the car review channels. The commentary was great. Thanks for using a good mic and camera. I think you might have a knack for this.
@@bradh6185 Thanks man
Not really in the market for a Maverick (own a Lightning) but I like to watch a video on them here and there. Just wanted to say you are a well spoken young man and felt you gave a very good presentation. Best of luck going forward, enjoy your new work truck.
I currently have a 2023 maverick hybrid lariat and will be updrading to the AWD with 4k tow package. I will say I think it is extremely good value for money. I have driven the other models and I don't think it is far to call those 'bar bones'. They still have a lot of features and functionality with great fuel economy. Also, for 40k, I think you are getting a heck of a lot in an incredibly small foot print / package. Its the pretty much the perfect truck unless you do a lot of heavy hauling.
I like the unbiased opinion and I'm looking forward to the next video.
My man
All the bells and whistles 👌
Mine is enroute to dealership. Same package and color. Ive been waiting since August. Only frustration is not getting Trailer backup feature. Congratulations and thanks for the review.
Awe heck yeah. Well it's not like it will tow more weight. You can only be so skilled at backing a trailer if the car is doing everything!
Great video, best of the few I’ve watched on the 25s so far. Also, gorgeous mountains in the background!
Nice review. Wow you drive a lot of miles! Probably won’t buy a Maverick till next December and I was planning on seeing how the new AWD/ hybrid platform hold up. You seem like you have the perfect situation to really test out this truck so I subscribed to your channel so please keep posting reviews of the truck.
Appreciate that! I'll try to keep the content coming for you.
I am really thinking about buying the exact same truck. Trying to justify in my mind this little thing is worth 40 plus. I am still thinking about it hard. Based on your other vehicles I am sure price was not a thought for you. Enjoy young fella. This thing will have to last me ten years or more. Remember it's not a truck it's a pickup only good to pick things up.
I picked up my 2025 Hybrid All-Wheel Black Out Edition in Space White last week. Immediately took to get the front windows and windshield tinted to match the back windows. Looks fantastic! So far I’m loving it. Quicker than I expected it to be. I’ll have to do a full review once it’s not -2 degrees here in Michigan and can get outside.
I ordered the same model truck! It is getting built very soon in January, first week. Thanks for the info on the Z-Fold 6 not working well with the wireless charge. I have the same phone as you, lol. I appreciate the tip on the seatbelt issue as I don't wish to be annoyed. I seldom have passengers and this is my work commuter vehicle as well with a 105 miles per day commute.
I owned a 2023 cyber orange XLT Maverick and loved it so much i sold it and ordered a 2025 Eruption Green Lariat! Also bingo you hit the nail on the head with the interior i was a little worried about it until watching this!
@@cornballsphere too bad they don’t offer a solid tan interior to go with the green. The blue interior just doesn’t go with green for me.
@mysdak Yea it's definitely a funky combo I even thought that my self lol
Strong , honest review. Much appreciated, 40G is a lot, but I also want the features you have. Thanks
Nice little truck, Ford has come a long way, I’ve been surprised by a lot of little things and even more the technology/infotainment with some of their vehicles. I’m looking for this exact truck, you might have sold me, thanks. Good luck to you.
Ford needs to pay me ha!
I agree on the pricing with the Mav going up quite a lot this year more than it should of, with that being said people tend to quickly forget that yes the 40-42k for a lariat is a lot, you are still at or under the base price of a full size truck with less equipment ie an F150.
I have a 2025 Xlt on order that’s supposed to be here soon and I can’t wait for it, it’ll be my perfect vehicle(as long as ford can keep it somewhat reliable).
Hybrid
Awd
Ruby red
4K towing
Sync 4
And Pushbutton start
Enjoy your lariat my friend !🎉
@budapest1002 Rad man. I also got 4k towing, a nice touch for the hybrid.
This is all the truck most people need, myself the AWD with the XL package works for me, impossible to find one. Good luck with your truck! Ignore the haters, their beer bellys won't let them behind the steering wheel!
Beer belly complainers probably can't afford one.....
Congrats my man, you live in new track home community with 3 new cars and I know those LandCruiser's are a pretty penny. You are living the dream!
Owning a box surrounded by other boxes, that can contain 3 other boxes on wheels. Dream for some, nightmare for others
I've never owned a Ford and never thought I would even like to have a Ford in the driveway but I am seriously considering the Maverick. It'll need to be all-wheel drive, heated seats, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel and adaptive cruise but I wouldn't know whether to get ecoboost or the hybrid because I'm kind of scared of both systems. I have a snowmobile, an ATV and a steel utility trailer so I suspect 2000 lb towing would be enough but I just feel like getting the 4K package.
This was an immensely helpful video and yes you did a great job!
Nice video. I got the ruby red xlt hybrid AWD with luxury package, spray-in bedliner, and floor mats /w carpet. It's gonna be used to drive twice a week to work an hour and back and haul my dogs to the vet. I can't wait to get it in late January, early February. I love seeing all this 2025 Maverick content popping up as people get theirs.
Looking forward to seeing that color.....
Good video, can't wait till it's 5-10yrs old and I can see how they hold up and are depreciated enough for my car budget.
Electric power steering tuning is probably why it auto centers the way that it does.
Appreciate the review!
I think I'm in the same boat as you on cost. Ive driven used or junker cars for the decades since i got my license but after being a homeowner for nearly ten years now i just needed something with more space and utility.
Gf has a KIA crossover which has filled most small needs, and those things are awesome but theres a lot we cant do without an open bed. We'd also like a small camper at some point.
So when it came to features and cost for my first factory new purchase that im planning to keep and care for as long as it runs this was about the sweet spot.
40k isnt as cheap as id like but its a premium that gets me a reasonable sized truck with good mileage, creature comforts, capacity/tow, and ability to do anything i need in the forseeable future. Gf also test drove the '24 and while she hates huge trucks she actually really liked it. So we can also share it for running to pick up project materials or whatever.
No car or truck will ever be perfect but for a slight cost premium im getting 95% of the way there. And a good chunk of that 5% is aesthetic.
Good luck with your truck, its beautiful! Look forward to seeing the update after 20k.
Please give an update video. I have a 23 Lariat Hybrid and love it. I've had F350's. Couple F250's and maybe 6 or 7 F150's. It rides and drives good. It's quiet. I, too, like the sub. Mine now has 19k miles with no issues, and I've ave. 45mpg so far. More I drive it more I like it.
When I receive my 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD Lariat in February, I'm not going to miss commuting 105 miles per day in my 2022 F-350 SCLB 6.7 Lariat one bit!
@brianwayne3029 your big gas mileage diff will be running around town and short trips. That's where hybrid really shines.
Great first impression review. Currently have a 23 XLT Hybrid, approaching 40k miles and ❤ it.
Have kept the middle seat buckled since encountering the “fantom alter” early in its life…
The Luxury Package in 23 provided the power heated seat & wheel that was a make or break for me. Very happy with the comfort of the cloth seats, and for 29K out the door (incl TTL) it was an awesome buy.
45.0 lifetime avg, so perfect for our needs.
Pricing out a comparable 2025 and adding 4K AWD drives it to 36 before TTL, so the jump to a Lariat with better sound system, roof & rear window doesn’t seem unreasonable.
Looking forward to your next update.
“alert”
You are sure critical for only having the Maverick one day. Maybe do a review at three months or something. I have bought 8 new Fords and many other new vehicles from other brands a well and the Maverick is very well made. Looking forward to your next review.
Thank you. I ordered the same trim, but with the green. I would like to hear updates on your ownership .
Good luck w,/ your new truck!!@
Bro you articulate your thoughts and opinions very well. Looking forward to more videos
Great review I had mine on order since August 1 as soon as the order banks opened well I received a Email update build date February 3 thats way to long mine fully spec out green awd hybrid with tons of extras mine came out to 40,630 I live in Michigan but i guess its worth the wait good credit score also well great review man
Great review. I’m also considering my first ford as a Maverick. I’m coming from a Silverado. Your build is almost exactly what I am considering.
What make you downsize that much ??
@ Asked the question - do I really need a full size truck? Still need a truck, but only tow a fishing boat these days. Fuel economy is the biggest thing. To be honest, I haven’t even test drove one yet, but I’ve done a few builds 😀
@@mysdak same I consider the maverick too, but at max a ranger size truck … 1500 trucks are too pricey and big and other side expenses make me want to buy a smaller truck
Thanks for the video! I have been waiting for a video talking about the dashboard, infotainment system, camera etc. I hope to get mine soon! And Enjoy yours!
Thanks for the good review! I bought a new 2022 Maverick Lariat hybrid, and have loved it. The EPA rating was 42 city / 33 highway, and I regularly meet or beat the EPA numbers. I have had 5 or 6 Ford recalls (a few were software updates and the Ford tech came and did them in my driveway), but I have had no actual quality issues that I personally experienced. I don't even have any squeaks or rattles after two years and 24K mlles.
I really love that I can easily reach over the side rails to access the cargo bed, which cannot be said for full-sized mid-sized trucks these days. In fact, I use it as my daily driver, and think of it as my car replacement (replaced my 2011 Honda Fit), and it gets better fuel economy than my Honda car ever did. It's like a car with a very large trunk that I can put dirty things like my lawn mower, gas jugs, lumber, trash bags or garden waste (which like you said, I would not want to put inside the interior of a nice carpeted vehicle). I rarely drive my gas-hog full-sized truck anymore, and only do so when I need to haul a large or heavy load, or tow a heavy trailer. When I bought it, I compared the price and features with a Honda Civic, and it was roughly comparable at the time, but so much better usefulness for the Maverick at the time..
Even though I might lose a couple of mpg, I am getting ready to buy a new 2025 Maverick because I want the 4WD (I get snow/ice in my hometown), but the other benefits also attract me, such as the bigger center screen, the 360 camera views, availability of the 4K tow package with the hybrid and the wireless Apple car play. And, I just heard they're putting acoustic glass on the front windshield (at least on the Lariat.) At $41K loaded for the Lariat trim it is a few grand more than I hoped, but has 4WD and the other new included features, and is still well below the average new vehicle price of $48K this year.
It's AWD, not 4WD. Probably fine for you, but keep that in mind.
@@just4ivaylo92 Yes, technically you are correct, of course. As long as it can detect slippage and activate 4 wheels to drive and get me better traction in the snow when I need it, then I'm happy.
@@danieldornes8416 the AWD is very good. I've been happy with it on my EcoBoost.
Beautiful truck I have a 23 xlt dark grey maverick hybrid and love it very much🥰 enjoy!
Great review. I have a 2024 Lariat non-hybrid and I'm very happy with it. Good video--liked and subbed!
Congrats on the truck. I was the same as you never owned a Ford or a truck but it was a surprisingly good truck. Had to get something bigger so I sold it. I miss it and will probably get one for my son and just barrow it when needed 😂
A great strategy to be sure. Your son definitely needs a Maverick, let your spouse know I said so it needs to be done!
The camera system looks awesome. I wish my 23 had that haha.
Nice video! I really want a 25 hybrid but I want to see some towing videos first. Maybe you could be one of the first if you have the 4K package.
I just said goodbye to my '22 Maverick Hybrid which was totaled in a fairly mundane crash, but all driver's side airbags popped.
No, the bed will not be water proof, just 'covered'. If you wouldn't leave it on the porch then don't leave it in the bed.
I only had FWD of course, I put on Continental Cross Contact LX and was comfortable in up to 7-8" snow.
I did have that old style dashboard, and I don't think it's compatible with Sync 4, so you give it up to get the bigger center screen.
No weird creaks or anything even at 63k miles. The motor will idle high when cold and thats the worst it gets.
I always blasted the music, and again, no issues with blown anything. I felt it was ok for a premium audio system.
My week driving city range was 550-600miles. Highway range was 400+
Got a 24 Maverick in May we love it. It’s very usable and a nice little truck for what it is our first and then roll the truck before Pure crew. Think we have about almost 6000 miles. Don’t drive it every day you have other car too.
Great review, and I love the comparison to the Tesla Model Y sound system. Such an improvement for the new Mavericks!
Thanks for focusing on the sound system! Back in the day, I did my own upgrades, but it is not feasible with all the integrated tech. I wish we could order upgraded sound without the bundled stuff, but it is what it is.
It is very solid. I am 11 months and 16 days into ownership of my 24 XLT.
I appreciate your review. It provided me enough input that made me comfortable about Maverick with a hybrid engine.....
Thanks for sharing, very helpful for me since I'm getting almost exactly this, and the one thing still having me wondering is the color, Space White Metallic, but your video helped, I should see the color in person this week, and just decide and pull the trigger 😅
Thanks again and good luck with the Maverick
Congrats on ur mav! I had a 23 Lariat hybrid BAP. Excellent on fuel! I’m glad they upgraded some features including an AWD hybrid. No issues besides me being part of the engine failure recall. It drove great but I didn’t want to take chances.
The 2025 refresh is a great looking little truck!!!
Congratulations! Beautiful truck, I have a 24 xlt hybrid and absolutely love it coming from a gmc canyon (lifted with KO2 tires) getting 14 mpg lol my Maverick mpg is almost 50 mpg it’s insane definitely a great purchase congrats again 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 what was your price out the door? I’m assuming 45k?
or so yeah
Thank you for the video!! Just deciding on trim. Lariat is looking nice 🙏🏽😁
That is a bummer about the change with the odometer. I agree I prefer the old one when I test drove. Hopefully they push an update to add it back at some point.
Great video from an early awd hybrid delivery - this is so weird but I'm literally considering both a landcruiser and the maverick. Value for money out of the maverick is insane. How do you like your landcruiser so far? I thought the drivetrain was clunky in operation. Both would be a daily driver, while I have a fun car in the garage. Seems like the new maverick, even at 40k for the lariat awd is so hard to beat. Thanks!
Do you want a review of the land cruiser? If you sub, I'll do it haha! In my opinion, the land cruiser transmission isn't clunky. Not at all, its not the right word for it.
You’ve definitely purchased the high spec version of the Maverick. However, based on what you said about your preferences, this is the right spec for you. I suspect you would have been less satisfied with a lower spec XL or XLT model. The Tremor model does give you a decent jump up in off road capable kit goodies, but that is tailored to a specific segment of the market I don’t think you play in or spend much time in. The juice would not be worth the squeeze. I for example would not spend the extra money for the sunroof, sliding rear window or the upgraded sound system. And those 3 items add a noticeable chunk of change to the price of the truck. I would look at the FX-4 package because of the added front recovery hooks, a bit of extra suspension travel and the 4K tow package. I like the XLT luxury package because you get the heated mirrors.
There are several things I like about the AWD hybrid package. 1) the really smooth gear change action of the transmission, 2) the ability to run around for short distances using only the electric motor, 3) the great fuel economy. And I don’t have to plug it in to charge it anywhere. Just gas and go.
For my use, 191 hp in this truck-let that weighs under 4,000 pounds is plenty of scoot and power about 85 to 95% of the time. In short, I don’t think I would often miss the extra 40 hp. The eco boost brings to the table. If I wanted more power, towing, payload and serious off road capability, I would not buy a Maverick.
Great review! Like you, I've never owned a Ford but the AWD Hybrid seems like a game-changer. I ordered a Lariat as well back on August 13th. It's been in a "Quality Assurance" hold for over a week. Maybe something to do with the middle, rear seatbelt? ;-p Enjoy your new truck!
Great review, and I’ve watched a ton!
I ordered an F-150 Powerboost XLT (only trim that allowed 6th seat) summer of 2021 during chip shortage because of the unique “hybrid” feature set in a full, mid or small size pickup at any price by any manufacturer, then added LOTS of extras (adaptive cruise w/ extensive safety features, pro-trailer package, panoramic sunroof, 7.2 kW generator and a bunch of other stuff). Final w/ extended warranty was close to $70k.
Overkill for my needs? Yea, but a great truck for me.
Have been crazy happy but always on the lookout for something that better fits my needs as I drive 25k miles / year.
I was hopeful the Ranger hybrid would make it to the US, but now I’m glad it didn’t.
Yeah, The maverick lariat 2025 AWD fits the bill so I ordered one a couple weeks ago. Can’t wait to see what other observations you have.
This was a great video. I think you should continue doing them!
Door close is solid on previous mavericks as well. The raised area in rear headroom is because of sunroof.
Is that space white?
Once you have had some creature comforts like Heated Seats. It is hard to do without.
I love the way that truck looks with those wheels 👍
I appreciated your perspective. Kudos to all the channels with professional editors and such, but sometimes you just need a more relatable viewpoint.
Loved the first-time owner, in-depth review over the Maverick Lariat. I am trying to find a replacement to my Santa Cruz, which the lease ends in a couple of months, and I'm looking at the Maverick or the Tacoma. This gave me a lot of insight on the Maverick because I'd like to get the Hybrid version. Thank you for the great review. I wish you did more reviews because this one is great.
You are super talented and your candor made the video more entertained! Congrats, i am interested on this model, certainly will test drive, I am 6'3" and a bit worried about the ergonomy
I like the interior colors on the Lariat trim. It would go great with the desert sand color exterior paint. The trim I would probably choose is the XL AWD hybrid model. Toss in the 4K tow package and factory mud flaps and I am good. The colors I am leaning toward are the green, desert sand and velocity blue. Maybe even black, but then I would need to add a custom white wrap or paint trim to the roof for an old school two tone treatment.
This is the exact maverick I'm buying tomorrow lol color and everything. I'm not a fan of white exterior, but the space white matallic looks kinda nice.
Looks like you got a very nice Maverick, you'll have to give an update in a few months on how it has been for you.
Bro 40 k is fine!! As you mention on your vid all cars are expensive. I regret getting the XL. I want more goodies now! There is no competition for the Maverick. I also have a 22 lariat hybrid First Edition with all the bells and whistles.
I get my 2025 XLT in a few weeks. Mine is a work vehicle I.can also use for personal use w gas card & free maintenance so I'm excited to try this and not have to worry about potential issues.
Space white metallic?
This was a great video! I'm thinking of getting a Maverick to replace my '05 Ranger that is starting to fall apart more quickly than I can repair it. Weirdly, $40k doesn't seem that bad -- I look back at when I got my GTI in 2019 for ~$30k, and now new GTIs are ~$40k for the same spec. I'm like you, i'd rather just bite the bullet and get the higher spec, so I'll probably look at Lariats too.
Really like the redesign here & hybrid AWD. Ford is going to sell a ton of these.
Excellent video, better than most I have seen
I own a Bronco Sport, both are built on the same platform and it’s like Ford says “it’s built tough!”
Im not completely sure, but I think if you get a certain configuration, you get the moonroof included in that package.... May be why you got it without explicitly ordering it. Also, Im getting the lariat with the GREEN exterior paint. I was kinda regretting it before but now im REALLY feeling like I made a mistake :)
Thanks for the video. It is very informative and welcome because there is a definite shortage of videos and info about this truck so far.
Don't doubt it yet! The green looks STELLAR. It's looks deep enough to swim in, it's just the color combo with the interior, but 'truffle' struggles to match with anything haha. I love the green
I'm considering buy one and was waiting on the hybrid awd version. It fits my needs for managing stuff around the house, move my family of 5 around, and still do truck stuff.
This guys YT channel about to blow up lol
Did you ever say what you were going to use it for in your work? Curious as a current F150 lightning owner? Thanks
I wish ford would bring this outside USA or in SEA. I think this would be great here since we have smaller roads, and parking space compared in the US
The tremor rides the best, has offroad protection, lock rear end and has better shocks too. Did you get a discount in my area they are discounted. Good review and like you said it looks better in person than it does in pictures. I think you will enjoy the maverick and comsumer reports rates it high on reliability.
I love my 23 tremor, its been an amazing truck function wise. Does good offroad too. I would be alot happier if you could get the rear diff locker on the awd hybrid. But is what it is. They are great little trucks.
As for your thoughts on the Tremor and lobo. I understand you are the type of person that wants to pay extra for sound quality, heated seats, and extra tech. But there is alot of people out there like myself, a 40yo jeeper, hotrodder, laborer who lives down a rutted dirt road. Having just the extra traction of the rear locker is worth the Tremor cost. I use it every day to keep my driveway intact. We do occasionally need to go places where a standard maverick would just get torn up. The Lobo is more for those that need practicality in their lives but want excitement aswell. The turbo motors do give out excitement. I would hope that the Maverick lineup evolves to have a hybrid version of the turbo motor, one with over 300hp. That is where the value of the Tremor and Lobo models would really make sense. For what it is worth I paid under $30k for my 23 XLT Tremor, it was a special order with a discount from Granger Motors in Iowa that i orderd in 2022 but rolled over to 23 so I changed from a FX4 to the Tremor and still got the $3000 off msrp promotion i locked in in 22.
@@74MaverickMan I appreciate you being candid. You're totally right, and I'm THAT guy to others who think the Lariat is a sack of berries and I'm all excited about it. Appreciate the comment
@@TheDacker57we ordered the Tremor. Getting everything the Lariat has plus the rough weather capabilities only lacking the tonneau(installing one myself as you did) for 42k. Just surprised at the adverse reaction to the Tremor from someone that got the Lariat. I could understand it coming from a base owner. Really liked your video, best on the 25’s so far.
What are your thoughts after driving it the last few weeks?
Great video. Thanks for all the info. How were the seats for comfort on the longer initial drive?

Sounds like Maverick reviews are your calling! Video is blowing up! It is good, fair, and unbiased. I sped it up to 1.5 -1.75x for time, but otherwise excellent.
A few mpg runs would probably gain lots of views. Normal driving, vs trying for the best.
I like your review, I will be getting my 2025 delivered next week. Remember that Ford has not been able to make enough of these to meet the demand, so some price increases are expected. Even the base model is about $28-29K with taxes, fees and delivery. You got a 4-wd that meets most all of your comfort needs, drives better than your Tesla and will give you about 40 mpg. I had a laugh when you wondered about the value of the Maverick, knowing that you said you had a Tesla....ha, ha, ha.
I'd love this. But as someone who road trips at least twice a year, there just wouldn't be enough storage. Maybe im just not informed enough, but i dont know where I'd put my stuff where it'll be safe from the elements.
Also, about the heated steering wheel, glad to see that hasnt changed. I have a 2017 Ford Fusion and the heated sterring wheel doesnt really get that hot lol
The only thing I regret from buying my 22 first edition. Is buying it new lol. Great truck though. I want a 25 but I'll wait till I can get a used one
I am about to put in an order for a Lariat, just need to figure out a color. I am thinking the desert sand as I think it would match the truffle interior really well. Thoughts on other colors?
Great job man! If you can afford the extras that you want get them!
I ordered the same trim but requested a few extras. I'm still waiting for it, but I'm really excited to receive it. For me, it will also serve as a tax write-off, as I plan to use it for service work in a high-traffic area. I also own an E-Transit for large jobs, and it has been an amazing vehicle. I don’t think $40,000 is an unreasonable price for a compact truck that offers great functionality, efficiency, and numerous safety features. I know many people in my field who purchase an HD Denali just to carry a few sheets of drywall. At this price point, it’s still cheaper than a 1500 truck, which has worse fuel economy and offers less technology and safety.
Your other vehicles are a Tesla and Land Cruiser? A Maverick is quite a step down from those! But that is fine. The Maverick is not supposed to be a high market premium vehicle. It’s what we see so few of now. A good value sensible affordable usable one. You buy it, use it, and enjoy what it brings to the party or work site.
