Rotten potatoes are the worst. I just started keeping mine in the refrigerator drawer they last for about 8 months No Lie. I just heard about it last year it's wonderful. . See you in the videos
When you put potatoes in the fridge it turns the starches into sugars and produces acrylamide which is linked to cancer. However, if you absolutely have to, you can reduce the amount of acrylamide by soaking the potatoes for 30 min-1 hr before using. Use that water for your indoor and outdoor plants for added nutrients.

It looked like ranch powder was in the pickle juice. That was a trend a few months ago where she was trying all kinds crazy stuff in pickles lol she probably forgot what she put in there. 🤣
@Hayley Schoot yes, but they are sealed shut. Once you open them and it is exposed to the air, it does something to the juice. I'm sure that's why they put, keep refrigerated after opening on the label because a lot of people would think it's ok to keep out. I just looked it up. It does have to do with oxygen exposure to the pickle juice. It allows it to grow yeast, and therefore, you get mold growth.

I didn't see the powder at the bottom of the jar, like last time. But I could be wrong. If that's the case, they definitely needed to be kept in the fridge. And only stored for a week or so. Because once you add something to the pickle brine, it messes with the expiration date.
You should put your spices next to your stove. Pantry foods should also be at eye sight so that things don't get forgotten. Easier access. Maybe put plates there or less needed items there.

that literally happened to me! my first huge fkn nat infestation my god.. i definitely learned my lesson. so a bag of small potatoes were chilln on the floor. it fell god knows when and it got buried practically. when i found it i almost died. like MILLIONS of them bitches came flying at me. it was a whole damn city. when i picked the bag up it turned the wood on my floor black! 😵💫

store your boxed items in zip loc bags, it'll keep moisture & pesky critters from getting in them
Especially starches like pasta and rice. It will keep the weevils out!
