@ So I figured last night how Sub is supposed to play in this game. He’s not meant to do high damage. His entire kit is built around poking and annoying the opponent to bait them into getting punished. Everyone tries to play him like the rest of the cast when he isn’t build like that. He has some of the best pokes in the game, his specials keep him safe. Ice ball is for punishing projects from behind his clones, deadly vapors is meant to bait them into teleporting or slowing down forward charging moves. Ice clones punish jump ins and button mashing from a few feet away. Everything about this character, from his dialogue to his normals to his specials, show he is meant to poke, back up and bait. Start playing with this in mind and you’ll get so many freezes that the opponent will be afraid to attack, then you mix with grabs or raw overheads That’s why they aren’t buffing his damage or speeding up his ice ball or overhead. I noticed and immediate improvement in my matches once I stopped being so aggressive and starting baiting. Sub Zero is the Grandmaster baiter. Lol
Man sub just canr get a break we get some buff but then they take away his corner f12 clone combo,and extend the clone cool down, I do like this new buffs but he still isn't as good as he should be .
The biggest Sub Zero buff for me has been one to Khameleon with the armoured slide. Having it be able to kombo from kitana as well as mileena is a big buff for sub khameleon imo.
I did some lab work last night and if you have a Kameo that can keep opponents in the air you can now add ice ball into the combo to extend. I’m still working on some things but I will definitely be online this weekend getting some dubs with Sub Zero
@@Real_StarK IMO the most important buff is the fact you can now double and even triple freeze opponents. His damage will automatically go up because of this
I noticed on one of Sikander's videos he is hitting the triple clone after back 2 jump up 21.He is whiffing the slide and hitting standing one to hit them into 2nd clone.Any secrets how to hit that?i always miss not enough time.
Sooo when u perform the clone as soon as sub lands theres a small animation just a lil click…. Perform the BF3 immediately to time it perfectly. But yes the timing is verry small! But practice it alot to make it a muscle memory. Let me know if it worked out as a sub main glad to help!
I was doing cool combos with Janet lol but I don’t feel she is best overall. Just been trying stuff lol nice combos in this might steal some. Also it almost better to do decent. Combo freeze them then into another decent combo lol don’t give them a chance to fight back 😂

Yoooo wasssup ? Whats your honest thoughts of these buffs Stark ? I think they look pretty but unless they change Zeros frame data after any 12 attack then its really not the buff zero deserves. After most of Zeros 12 or 21s your minus in frame advantage.
@StarK_Takahashi you need to do a guide that covers Zeros timing with the final air juggle dive kick combo that his combos finish with in top corners. Its a dam pain it the ass to get the timing down bro 👍 The 1 wear you finish on x 3 dive kicks 👍 Finishing and combo with that make the diffrence between 40 n 50% 👍 Great job n il keep an eye out for the new post bro 👍👍👍
Sub zero needs his back 2 faster and needs a better meterless launcher where he can oppress his opponents easier on his own without using a kameo. Also, buff his ice ball and clone where he can throw it at you to freeze or punish you. Lastly give him ice parry move so he can beat the living shit outta of every trash player who tries to spam corner wakeup to be a worthless failure😂. F the trash and long live the grandmaster 🐉🩸

Yeah I know about that... For example if you catch your opponent with a random mileena sais you can throw ice ball and freeze them in the air

The timing on that is really tight... You need to be accurate to do S3 slide there
