He's in denial to hear it and I hope he doesn't make matters worse. Other than that, their bite-teasing and their kisses are on point! I can't wait to see more. Why do people get surprised by getting a monthly payment? That's how it normally works wherever I have worked when a contract is involved. You could request a mid-month payment, but that is extraordinary. Plus, with part-time jobs, the payment can be even later.
