Man ppl hate to admit it, and I had love for Nip without knowing him personally, but Cowboy, Rimpau and Nip all got caught slipping that day. Eric should’ve NEVER been able to come back around there and still find Nip in that same spot after that type of a conversation. I believe Cowboy won’t admit to how that snitching conversation really went because he dropped the ball on protecting Nip. There is a surveillance video clip of when Nip and Eric were talking and for one, that conversation was way too long and Nips body language was too aggressive for anything to be brushed off as normal. It’s sad to say but this really was what it seems like. Nip was so important ppl won’t ever accept it but all it takes is one moment to change and alter the course of lives forever.

Man ppl hate to admit it, and I had love for Nip without knowing him personally, but Cowboy, Rimpau and Nip all got caught slipping that day. Eric should’ve NEVER been able to come back around there and still find Nip in that same spot after that type of a conversation. I believe Cowboy won’t admit to how that snitching conversation really went because he dropped the ball on protecting Nip. There is a surveillance video clip of when Nip and Eric were talking and for one, that conversation was way too long and Nips body language was too aggressive for anything to be brushed off as normal. It’s sad to say but this really was what it seems like. Nip was so important ppl won’t ever accept it but all it takes is one moment to change and alter the course of lives forever.

I don’t believe it was a hit. Based on interviews and the last 30 minutes of Street TV's parking lot surveillance footage, here's what I think happened: Allegedly, Eric and some other 60s were picked up for a crime, and while the others were identified in a lineup, Eric walked free. This sparked rumors that he might have snitched, though several 60s, including Lil Creep from Dime Bloc in a recent interview with Kev Mac, have confirmed that he didn’t.
On the day of the shooting, Eric pulled into the parking lot high on meth. He saw Nipsey and the rest, but he was making the place hot. His shirt was off, and it’s likely he had a revolver in his right pocket, which the prosecutor mentioned during the trial based on Master Burger surveillance footage, though it couldn’t be proven. Nipsey and the group probably noticed this and felt uneasy about the attention Eric was bringing.
I don’t believe Latham was there for shirts; he was likely there for weed or something else. Sam and Nipsey were known for selling weed out of the shop, and Latham, being on parole at the time, was probably looking for something to help him financially. The story we were told likely differs to protect reputations.
With Eric lingering, Nipsey knew he was making the area even hotter, especially with other 60s probably looking for him. Eric was aware of this, which is why he had two pistols on him. Nipsey brought up the paperwork rumors to encourage Eric to leave, but instead, Eric suggested they go back to the block to settle things with the others, knowing Nipsey had influence in the neighborhood.
I believe this is where we see the aggressive hand gestures in Street TV’s footage. Nipsey probably refused because he wasn’t sure about the paperwork, and if the rumors were true, how would it look for him? Eric likely felt disrespected, trapped in a position where the false snitching rumors could become more damaging. Eric hadn't snitched, and walking away without defending himself would ruin his reputation in the neighborhood.
If he fought, they likely would have jumped him. Cowboy even said that if he thought something was off, he would have gotten Eric out of there. So, Eric reacted as any gang member might under the circumstances. Unfortunately, it was Nipsey who paid the price. There's more to the story, but nothing that points to a conspiracy. It just feels that way because the murder seemed so cold and calculated. Meth likely played a huge role in Eric's actions.
Another factor is that Eric was familiar with Nipsey. We’ve seen the photo of Eric on Tanisha Foster’s Instagram, cooking in her kitchen. He has “LX” tattooed on the back of his arms, and you can see the “L” in Tanisha’s photo, confirming it’s him. They all knew each other.
This wasn’t just a random act. If you look at the LA Times' homicide section over the past 30 years, you’ll see how common broad daylight shootings are in LA for seemingly no reason. And sure enough, Nipsey's name is there.
The takeaway here is: if you haven’t seen the paperwork yourself, don’t speak on it. Nipsey could have handled things differently, but what can we do now? He’s gone, and we all miss him, especially Sam. We struggle to make sense of it, which is why conspiracy theories arise. The recent story told by meeka love coincide with what bernita nichols heard, it coincide with the statement nipsey made when they first noticed eric, and lastly it coincide why eric hasn't said anything about his motive. The revolver was in his pocket. If you look at the Master Burger footage you can see a small bulge in front pocket. She had no idea that Eric was going to do. You would not have known either. They interrogated her for 5 hours, they search her apt, they search her mother's apartment, they took her car, and she answered ever question by the detectives. There is NO LINK people
