    The value of these interviews is that they exist so we can hear them. Those who don't believe them are precisely those who need them the most. Having been repeatedly attacked myself I know what it is to not be believed after being attacked by racists.

      Much respect and I agree as someone who has been abused in my childhood but it’s not just about those experience but also about to hear people’s stories and learn from them and just uplift each other 🤍

    Wow, and I kept hearing that American prisoners in Europe were always well-treated.

    Mistreatment of POWs was quite common by Imperial Japan, but Jew POWs were also inhumanly treated by Nazi Germany. Both war crimes were racially motivated. The same went for incarceration of Japanese Americans in World War II.

    Look at many wartime documentaries and i always think the german soldiers have the biggest noses of any other combatants .And i think the biggest nose of all belonged to reinhard heydrich .I am sure many people will think this is a joke post , but i am or attempting , to be deadly serious .

    Could he think about the thousands innocent civilians that he murdered with his bombs?

      Emmanuel Leonard: I’m sure that didn’t bother Hitler. He cast the first stone. Wars are madness initiated by those who don’t fight them. Equivocation is misplaced here.

      The German people elected Hitler overwhelmingly, in full knowledge of his policies about Jews and other so-called "undesirables."

    • @johnbull1568
      @johnbull1568 3 года назад

      @@midwestmatthew9752 Germans did not elect him 'overwhelmingly'. He never received over 50% of any vote at any time, and card-carrying membership of the party never exceeded 10% of the population, even at its peak in 1939. This is not to say that I agree or disagree with the original post about bombing civilians, but Hitler's ascent to power is far more complicated than just saying Germans voted for him. For one thing, it overlooks the very real fear and threat of Communism at the time.

      Could you spare a thought for the millions of innocent men women and children the Nazis exterminated in industrialised death camps?
