May be it is 13.7 billion as both LCDM and CCC parameters have got naerly to the 13 billion years unlike the others. The points raised by the Australian Astrophysicist is reasonable as there may be some flaws in the JWST but we can take a precise value which may be a closer value for accurate. I have a doubt about how energy gets concentrated in a specific area in space even if it is concentrated in a region many years back why did the energy concentration expanded till our milky way after few years why not stay in the same concentrated region?
Imagine you're putting a lot more things in a container rather than its actual capability, It'll get burst after some time so when energy gets concentrated too much in a certain of kind of area, it burst and expands it.

just to mention that it is impossible to calculate total universe age since we didn't even know what is outside of our observable universe we can't draw conculsion without checking everything out but yeah it is possible to just calculate the age of observable universe or more over the age of the light that first formed.

In my opinion the Universe is Infinite..and the most important thing is Humans never can find the actual starting point of the Universe, The Multiverse etc... Because just imagine we are struggling to reach the Moon. If we can go outside the solar system or we have to make the Telescope much bigger than the earth size then maybe something should happen.
I mean we are still at the very nascent stage of space science. We began space exploration just some decades ago . So it obviously will take at least a 100000 years of continuous scientific advancements to get a stronghold over space science.
Forget about Earth sized telescope, to make a telescope of size of even our moon seems like impractical.. even after millenniums ~
I'm not sure if you guys are aware that we took first image of black hole by creating a virtual telescope of size earth. I'm sure you guys might have seen it on clips there are 8 event horizon telescope a network of 8 linked telescope.

What Hubble couldn't catch is what JWST is doing. Hence in fact the universe is out of our reach. But it is a tremendous scientists are making an effort to reach new theories.

I don't know if you gonna read this, but I myself had a theory about the age of the matter in the universe. We all know that at the start of the universe matter was tightly packed, hence we can assume that gravitational force would have been much more stronger than now. Hence I theorized that the matter present in the universe would've gone under time dilation due to the gravity of the surrounding matter. In sense time would've moved much slower than what we experience now. Maybe what is one sec now would've been like one hour/day/year then. This I theorized because we've learnt that 2 objects have an gravitational influence on each other till a certain distance hence by using time dilation formula the dilation in time could be calculated. With time the matter moved apart hence the influence of gravity got weaker, but the matter it influenced was much younger than that not influenced.
I ger yr point , using the theory of relativity , i may be assuming u correct as we know if u r closer to some object whose gravitational force is more than time slows down , and the object that r from it time moves fast for them . This is what u want to say i guess
I think, time slows then (gravity is much stronger) and here the time is faster but, as theory said these 6 galaxy are mature (it forms in red ) the fast time is here not there

@@shreshth2908 i just expressed my views on how some objects seem to be much older than others, in the context of the maturity of galaxy the most probable explanation will be that matter was distributed unevenly through the universe, hence dense pockets of matter formed bigger galaxies, also, as we know that dark energy started to prevail much after the big bang, hence there would've been a higher ratio of dark matter to matter in early universe, hence would've been resulting in such larger galaxies

i have a doubt. the calculations we are making are on the basis of stars, galaxies that can be seen by our telescopes but it can only see till one specific distance, so would not there be more galaxies further from observable universe. so how could you be accurate in calculating the age of universe?

A day of brahma is equal to 1000 yuga(43,20,000 years). So one day is of approx 4.3 billion years same is the duration of brahma's night hence 1 complete day nd night brahma equals to 8.6 billion years.
365 days makes up brahma's 1 year and total life span of our present brahma is 100 years. WHich means total age of brahma's creation, our Brahmand(Universe) is 311 TRILLION earthly years. Out of which, Brahma has already spent his 50 years and this is the first day of his 51st year.
means according to our ancient scriptures, present age of universe is approx 155 trillion years.

vedas and other hindu scriptures are very ancient, so to preserve their knowledge they have to be rewritten over nd over again cuz those palm leaves in which those were written gets destroyed after many many years. So someone have to rewrite that text again n again in order to preserve it.
And also, don't forget that was the time when people on other parts of world thought earth to be flat. In that era, if any civilization is thinking and talking about cosmos, multiverse, relativity then most probably they weren't joking.

Bro i have a question.. According to Google the length of whole univer is 90 billion year and it’s going in one certain direction but the big bang happend around 13 billion years ago then how can universe be 90 billion long and as einstein said nothing can travel faster than speed of light?
Its because universe is moving faster than light.
So it covered 90 billion light year distance in short time.
This is because speed limit is for information.
Not for space.
So space moves faster than light.
Or we can say it expands.
We can't predict exactly but it's depending on new technology and hopefully more Technology will create to know more about origin of universe and it creation of ages. It's possible more years as we are expecting

OMG, my concept about this universe is changing every month. In my life I have seen 2 very powerful telescopes, one is Hubble the legend of my time and now James Webb, I am like thinking, if tomorrow they launch more powerful telescope then this, then what will the universe change to next.

According to our ancient texts the universe age is about 30.240 billion years (context one kalpa - 4.32 billion/ current kalpa is Brhat-kalpa 7th in no. So 7x4.32billion=30.240 billion

Real age of the universe in my opinion (which nobody asked about😅😂) can be calculated just from the point where it all began. Are we trying to determine its age from earth? But its not the center point so distance is gonna be different in all observations right.
