This was tracks 2 and 3 from Judith’s 1st album “Send Judah First” and was the 2nd song I learned by this amazing singer. This is my prayer every single day, whether I’m going about my regular day, going to work or going to church
I remembered hearing this version while visiting Atlanta my cousins and I were kids back then and their was an announcer on the phone with this guy telling him how he can win a ticket to go to six flags or something and he actually won because he answered the right question so the lady told him to start praising God and he praised God as if his life depending on it lol we were wondering why he had to in like that but my auntie explained to us why and we never knew what he was going through next thing i knew it thia song started playing but i thought it was the announcer signing 😅😅😅 because she kinda had that same tone and speaking voice but everyone else in the jeep was shocked that wasn't the lady singing as well the only version I ever heard was stop the Juanita bynum's version back in the mid to late 90s but in 2001 this version hit differently and I rocked with this one ever since I loved the twist it gave and how the band added the click track I mean don't get me wrong I heard click tracks in the 90s but this one gave it a more crisp and evolved fill frfr
I used to watch this on VHS tape when I was a kid, and I enjoyed every single one of those songs
