There was also a electrical thunderstorm in my area ( Memphis , TN ) On June 18 2023 At 5am it ended a hour later . There were loud thunder claps & rain with wind . The southern east U.S is Subtropical meaning hot humid summers & cold mild winters . Pop up storms are common as well
I absolutely love thunderstorms and remember fondly when I went with my parents to Orlando back in 1998, it was around the time of hurricane George I think, which strangely was my dad's nickname for me. RIP dad 15/05/2024... we had some awesome storms there I think nearly everyday in the 2 weeks. But loved them... wish we had the volume of them in the UK.
No this lightening is new over the last few years…we never had continuous lightening like this when I was growing up. This type of lightening usually is down in South America. Pretty sure this is due to the poles moving so that eventually they will flip and what is now tropical will be Arctic and visa versa..great video. Thanks
I hate lightning and thunder when I was a really young kid a light pole was struck like 5-10 feet away from the car I was in and it scared the shit out of me so I’ll forever be traumatized by it
It was also an electrical storm in my area, too, June 17 (Bucharest, Romania) 10 PM

May your dad rest in peace! Yeah the storms here are something else, especially the booming thunder - British thunder is nothing in comparison

ELMO MONSTER RAISING HIS VOICE IN CLASSROOM
I don't like heat but I like thunderstorms. In Germany they usually bring a weather change and cooler air.
It's different in Florida I guess. 😊
This is only partially true. In the middle of the day when its over 30C then a big thunderstorm will drop the temp down to the mid 20s

I'm sorry to hear that 😞
