Whenever I play him, I stay in site and use the drones when needed to get info for around site, thankfully whenever I do that strat, the whole team anchors with me besides a roamer or two. This video speaks a lot about siege players mindsets so prepare for a very long and in depth thought that no one asked for about an opinion have had for a few years but have not yet told in a format like this. Echo is annoying to fight against, and so is clash but just because you lose to them does not make the game bad or the other team pussies. Rainbow has done an amazing job of having viable counters to every operator. And in addition to that, EVERY situation can be countered by good coordination, patience, and a calm attitude. Essentially, you can win each round if you have good game sense. Rainbow is a team based game with specific roles for certain operators. The game is NOT designed to be played by yourself, isolated from your teammates environment. A perfect example of this is literally in this video. At 3:37 zofia gets echoed and then nitroed. The IMMEDIATE course of action for the attackers should be "they have an echo, IQ find and kill the cams." That entire situation could have been avoided. And I know you cant win every round and hindsight is 2020 but, if you go into every game thinking its overwatch, cod, apex or Fortnite, you are going to constantly loose. (That isn't a dig at those games I love them but most mainstream fps games have very similar play styles which carry over from game to game. Rainbow is one of the few exceptions to that rule.) I say all of this to say that unless you are dying to a macro, xim, walls, glitches, or lag do not get mad at the other team because of the operators they used to beat you. The ENTIRE point of this game is to use your operators better than the other team. The ENTIRE point is to play smarter than the other team in every conceivable way. Who cares if the guy killed you from a rat spot or a spawn peak? Rainbow has given you the tools to not die from that yet you do. Do not be mad at your own incompetence. I'm an echo main, I enjoy his yokais too much. I'm trash at the game and used to play it with friends I no longer talk to, but when I would play I'd usually anchor on site with my drones overlooking both bombs - so that when I'm dead, mfs still alive on my team could see pings of attackers on site or nearby in doorways. (Usually I was the only one on site, and often the last one alive ofc) It was nice cuz I played Siege to vibe with my friends, we'd pull dumb shit and play for hours - didn't care if we won or lost. They were the ones who bought the game for me in the first place. Good times

As an Echo main I realized I've been playing him entirely wrong. I usually roam and flank with him leaving a yolkai to watch default plants.
Eggo's yolkai drones are great
usually best to have 1 in site and 1 mobile drone to scout out for your roamers similarly to attacker drones
