- Hey everyone, Finally 8.3 daybreaker is here!
I've been having so much fun in Solo Mists lately and have properly started streaming again. I hope you guys come by and check it out! At first, playing as 8.3 was scary, but I quickly got used to it and am now making so much money from PvP and Knightfall Abbey Dungeons!

i think the new Duskweaver Helmet is good on daybreaker. not only it can help you catch kiting enemies, but also ensures your E purge and damage will hit, since enemies are slowed with duskweaver helmet.
Yes, you're right! but in order to use that, you need to sacrifice the cultist cowl. That means we will be weaker against 1v1 all-in builds.
really good video, would you recomend stalker jacket with daybreaker as the q slow would allow for really good stick and make the stalker damage really hard to evade

Including boots like soldier boots
Hunter hoods have limited uses compared to cultist cowls. Hunter Hood, which can be purged and has a higher cooldown, only works on enemies focused on you, while you can use Cultist Cowl on running opponents, punishing their movement abilities. But don't get me wrong, hunter hood is better against burst-type weapons. Overall, the cultist cowl is more flexible, and that's the main reason I use it.
I'm running Judicator boots for an extra +75 base IP, which means more HP. You can use any boots you want, but artifact ones have a higher base IP.
@@KirnonTV ooohh I see thank you I actually didn't think about that makes more sense now I've been spec up my spear and daybreaker and idk if I made a huge mistake for me or it's just me having skill issue lol
@@pouding3472 I felt the same at some point, low ip spear is harder to play. It feels smooth at high ip though.
And can you say, i mention that most of the time u use food on cd reduction and dmg. But u also have food on lifesteal. When do you prefer to use that food?
I use Roasted Puremist Snapper against heavy 1v1 builds with no cooldown or movement ability.
Are curse staffs a tough matchup for spears in general? Great video btw
Yeah it's a tough match-up, especially against 1H curses.

I guess spears are not as good as other weapons, but I like them.
Hi! Nice vid. Is it an effective way to kill people with undead cape? I think that your E can even kill before undead proc, or purge the invis. But maybe cast time is too long and the victim can run out of this line of E. How do you think?

Yes, breakthrough ability can be used for execution, but most of the time you'll need that for purge or to dash after your opponent's movement ability.

@@Gri_ndelwald Asuming all 8.3 and 120 spec; 1h dagger, Normal bow, 1h curse, curse skull, 1h frost and chillhowl. Non of them can easly kill me(except dagger) but harder to fight against compare to other weapons. Also i won't fight against great hammer and double bladed since they can disangage with ease.
What would you recommend, Taproot or Torch?
Torch for mists.
Taproot for corrupted dungeons.

is daybreaker good in slayer and stalker corrupted now?
Yes, daybreaker is good in corrupted dungeons, but the current meta weapon in corrupted dungeons is the bow, and it's really hard to play against as daybreaker.

Man, let me ask, why you use this boots and armor
The best in slot would be the tenacity jacket and boots of valor for this build since we're using secondary abilities, but those options are 2-3 times more expensive than what we're using and just for +25 IP. I'm still maxing out my destiny board, so I cannot afford to spend so much silver on them just yet.

@@amicus133 The main reason is that it is cheap lol. Why should i pay 2m for a cape ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can you pls help which is better daybreaker or 1h spear?
Both of them are viable and good. 1H spear has more mobility compared to Daybreaker, but Daybreaker is much more powerful.
So it will be better to spec daybreaker than 1h spear for open world,mists and cds?

But daybreaker is realy strong in 1v1 it is good in corapted dungeon you must understand 1h spear is probably the most kayty weapon from all mele weapons so it is a little bit hard to be good in this weapon this is all what i want to say if i m wrong with somethink someone who has more experience in this weapons please tell me what i write wrong good day
