Finally I have done it . This was very much tough as my device is NIKEL MTK . No tricks was working because there was no OEM unlocking option in my device. Thanks for your video.
Hey Chris, even though I don't have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, I still enjoy watching your vids. I can tell you I like the process for the Zuk and Nextbit Robin better. This phone appears to be difficult to unlock and flash. Thanks for persevering through it. I'm sure this is a great help for those that do have this phone.
Agreed! I didn't like having to submit the request to Lenovo to get the unlock file for the Zuk, but at least we didn't have to wait for approval on that one. I really like how Nextbit encouraged people to unlock their phones and customize them to make their phones unique. I know my next phone will come from a company that supports unlocking and customizing without voiding the warranty.
Unable to get past account sign in as it asks for phone number but doesn't allow you to enter it due to fault with country code drop down menu not active. Won't let you click on or scroll down on it? Tried on two seperate pc's?
I have spent hours trying to unlock and have failed miserably. I think Xiaomi have blocked the unlock tool from working so apologies for trashing this video as if probably worked then.
Is the "Find Device" part required? I cannot for the love of god find that option anywhere on my phone. There IS a "Find my device" app but I only see it in the app manager and cannot access it by any means.
You can try older version of miunlock.. It has no time out error and worked for me.. Google and download this version MiFlashUnlock_1.1.1111.1_en! Hope it helps

so which phone do you prefer, zuk z2 or xiaomi note 4
well considering the zuk z2 has some LTE bands for US carriers, the z2. I like the build quality and screen of the redmi note 4

Process probably has changed since this video. I can’t say for sure but check XDA
@@ChrisPanton It worked without it so it's probably not required. I had to install the USB driver though
