Sadly, I never heard of Lissie until I saw her on "Guitar Center Sessions" in 2013. Call that a failing of commercial radio. The performance of her and her band was simply stunning. And I admit being equally stunned by her beauty. As her song "Shameless" says she's not interested in selling her looks; she wants to be known for her music. Gotta respect that..

Not sure if the musicians are from the road band or studio. especially dig the bass line &drummer locked down so tight up to the solo. Video fits well with the tune. skateboard guy, thought i was only 1 had that 1? Like they all end up at sleepers anon. Wish u all the Best. We'll catch ya on ur way back thru!

The things that give to me are going to an art exhibition, catching up with girlfriends, meditation, yoga, being out in nature, gardening, reading, writing, live music, dancing, diving into a pool of water (whether pond, lake, river or ocean), great conversations about social issues, attending rallies to stand up for change, trying out new recipes, live comedy, live sports, going to the theatre, taking time to read The Saturday Paper, taking a bike ride, kayaking, camping, exploring new places, trying new things and learning new stuff every day. I'm building more of these things into my life here each day.

Lissie wont change. She does everything the way She wants to do it 😊 She is an independent artist now (After being dropped by her label in 2015). But she wasn't happy there as they wanted her to be something she isn't. But she is really happy now, bought a farm In Iowa and lives there with he BF. Lissie is currently on tour the now, and her new album is out April 2019

She's awesome!! I can't remember how I came across her but I'm glad I did and I wish I would have found her a long time ago. I also found Charli xcx who is nothing like her but extremely talented also. People like to bash Charli xcx and it pisses me off coz she's just a kid but I guess some people are just so jealous that they gotta be ugly!

Back to Forever is one of this year's best pop albums IMO, Lissie's voice is so beautiful.
