Nice job guys….quick question….can you ppf the lower exterior plastic trim pieces (front spoiler, under doors and diffuser). I’ve heard some installers say you can’t because of the slight texture in the plastic and that it’s only possible if you choose the carbon fiber option for these areas….I was thinking that they could be satin wrapped or maybe Xpel’s black ppf. Thanks
Hey Jason! It really depends on the type of plastic in question, but this particular car has the textured plastic you describe - there needs to be a smooth surface for correct adhesion. Thanks for the question :)
@@kosautocare 👍….thanks…I’ve been looking at the Roma….Would probably have a body shop refinish and paint the lower plastic trim, then ppf. Ferrari don’t offer a painted option (I suspect to push you towards the carbon fiber) but, I can’t justify $30k on cf exterior trim pieces. Thanks again for the reply.
