Easy peasy. I just pop the connector off the selector on top of trans under the hood with 2 fingers and select neutral. Drag it up, and pop it back in park until it's delivered, then reverse process and pop it back on in park. Same with traverses and Malibu's, Cruze, most of the GM's. 4cyl cars anyway. The V6s can hard to get your arm in on top of trans.
Does the vehicle have power? I believe the ignition on those vehicles have a lock that holds the key. If the battery is dead it won’t release the key. You’d have to get power to the battery with jumper cables or a portable jump pack.
And sometimes it will let me pull the key out and when I do everything is fine I just don't know iw why sometimes when I do pur my key in the ignition it won't come out and the gearshift gets stuck
This help me so much on my wife car Thanks

@TowMan127 When the key is stuck it will start it just won't come out of the ignition and it won't let me shift gears
