Terrific...👏👏 Great idea with the paratrooper, figures all tell a great story. Like too the ‘lump’ of fallen debris from the bridge into the river, everything comes together really nicely....top work! 🔝👍
Wonderful and absolutly realistic diorama! The Buildings and Terrain are awesome. The scene reminds on the poor paratrooper named John Steele who landed during D-Day 1944 on a churchtower in Saint-Mere-Eglise /France hanging there for hours close to the bells and took serious damage to the ears because the priest of the church rang the bells....
What a wonderful video, full of fantastic modeling instruction. A great scene, realistically depicted, with a great deal of accuracy and a real sense of urgency and helplessness depicted. Very enjoyable to watch.
you prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
This is just amazing , this is perfection the tiniest bit of details have been captured. I wish I could do an apprenticeship under you. This is Michael Angelo Stuff Just Mesmerizing
Sir ! Amazing job! But a little problem U.S. airborne uniform were Olive green whole body! Not olive drab. U.S.airborne famous 101 and 82 troops had their logo on their coat and their helmet!
Beautiful work, but the sign on the building would seem to indicate Caen as the location but that was in the British sector, St Mere Eglise would have been more accurate. Historically speaking.
My comments are not meant to disparage the incredibly talented work that produced this fabulous work. Actually, while this certainly appears to pay homage to St. Mere Eglise, it is not an accurate representation of the paratrooper caught on the chapel in St. Mere Eglise.
This is some really nice work. Just a couple of things that struck me as odd. First the parachute shrouds are way too thick. I expect you'd go crazy doing them with thinner material, thread perhaps but it would improve the look. I've seen people use a jig to make up wire wheels for bikes and cars, perhaps a large sheet of stiff foam with the layout marked on it, with pins. Second, the lamp post laying on the ground by the hotel. Where did it come from? Obviously knocked down by a blast but I don't see a logical location for it to have stood. Some sort of evidence on the ground where it had been standing, broken cobble stones, some wires... Anyway, you left my dioramas in the dust. I have a fair way to get to get to that level of detail.
That's awesome, I'm very envious of your talent, I haven't been modeling long but I really want to build something like this, but maybe a lot smaller I think. Thank you for sharing this with us
hey, do you know of Robert Arnehov? He also does hand painting - no airbrush :) do you know any English or maybe Swedish? Your picture is great! I am from USA, Illinois.
Totally awesome! And great idea with the paratrooper! I can't find this information anywhere, can you please tell how tall is the hotel itself, I mean only walls including roof but exluding diorama base?

thank you very much....
Art imitating life as did the parachute scene where the parachutist was caught on a church steeple that was reenacted in the movie The Longest Day .
Exactly. This movie scene inspired me to make this diorama, thank you very much....
A true event
Excellent modeling, and craftsmanship!
That's so awesome. I'd love to know what material you use for buildings. If anyone could tell me I'd be thankful
Plaster.thank you
10 out of 10........Top Class ! 👍👍👍👍

It was precisely by going to STE Mère Eglise that it gave me the idea of making this diorama.Thank you very much....
just WOW, such detail... AMAZING WORK! NICE JOB! I LOVE THIS!!
With very few technical mistakes...very nicely done. That’s a lot of work.
They have a recreation of that in the village in France
Dans le film "The longest Day" il y a une Scene similaire. Le parachutiste américain a atterri au sommet du clocher de l'église et s'y est coincé ...
Fantastic, hint of Sainte-Mère-Église there.
Yes, I was inspired by it ...
This is magnificent! I am so amazed with such excellent craftsmanship. thanks for sharing!
Bloody amazing have I thought of realistic models. It could be called well that’s call mate
Once again 👍👍👍

The parachute is made with a plastic store bag and I no longer know where I bought the parachutist on the internet

magnifique et le fait de l'avoir vu de prés lors de l'euromodels 2022 à Chatellerault, m'a permis de voir tous les détails. bravo !!

Awesome job and video
Great modelling, but why is the US infantryman pointing his rifle at the stranded paratrooper - also presumed and American?
It's just an attitude, he talks to her with his gun in his hand ....

Beautiful work, but the sign on the building would seem to indicate Caen as the location but that was in the British sector, St Mere Eglise would have been more accurate. Historically speaking.
Thank you for your comment, it is the direction of Caen which is indicated, there is an arrow just above. thank you for your attention
