    I think I'd prefer larger but fewer rooms. And seriously, make the carport roof into a deck.

    • @HereComeTheParkers
      @HereComeTheParkers  5 месяцев назад

      For some reason that particular house did not have a deck on the carport. All the other houses nearby had a deck on carport. Probably a work in progress?

    Those cookie cutter neighborhoods kill me. Being from Los Angeles living in such close proximity to neighbors brought me trauma. Thanks for continually sharing your house hunt with us.

      We mut say the houses are built very close to neighbours. Seems a thing here in Thailand.

      Thailand is being ruined by them. Developers learned they can make money building them and now you hardly see custom built houses anymore just these garbage dumps.

    Very well done. honestly. They look fresh and clean, but rather milk toast and the fact they don't have all utilities in with hot water is just dreadful.

    • @HereComeTheParkers

      We just heard back from the agent and he tells us that air-conditioning throughout and hot water are included in the price. It's difficult when buyer and seller don't speak the same language. In Thailand, some information, even important information, takes time to be revealed! 😁

      agree. they should have already the hot water and AC, fans. everything else is cosmetics that i can do. i would negotiate that price or not buy. i did the usd conversion so i would offer the equivalent.

    Quite basic for a new build house (at least the kitchen). But some interessing ideas.

    • @HereComeTheParkers
      @HereComeTheParkers  Месяц назад

      Most Thais like a kitchen outside so the cooking smells don't go through the house. We viewed a lot of houses that had no kitchens.

      Des, always remember that in Thailand everything is negotiable! Often important information can take time to be discovered. For example the agent just now contacted me and told me hot water and air-conditioning is included in the price. If something is not to the buyer's liking there's an excellent chance the problem can be corrected. There is an enormous number and range of properties on the market in Thailand (including in Hua Hin) and buyers have a great choice. Silly prices don't last...unlike in Australia.

      @@desmcleod2604 well Des I can only tell you it is brutal here hot and very humid about 10 months of the year. We are used to it now but it was tough in the beginning...and we come from Qld. At the start you will be using the aircon 24/7 but you'll adapt. Everyone does. Even the Swedish get used to it!

      @@simpletheo22 yes it seems very odd to westerners but cooking in the home is not really a Thai thing. It's a Thai cultural thing. We may do a video on it one day.
