On-site Concrete Batch Plant | Silvi Solutions

In a new series titled "Silvi Solutions", we explore unique services and products Silvi Materials offers its customers to tackle any challenge they may have.
Here, we look at a job with Alston Construction in Old Bridge, NJ, consisting of nine warehouse buildings totaling 150,000 cubic yards (15,000 truck loads) of concrete. Because of the high-volume demand of the job, it made sense economically, logistically, and environmentally to erect a portable on-site concrete batch plant.
Jason Salazar (Assistant Plant Manager for Silvi Concrete) and Justin Arce (Operations Manager for Alston Construction) explain the decision-making process and the assembling and testing of the plant in further detail.
