I agree with what the mother said it was not the right place or the right time and what the person that was playing Santa about fixing the boy's deafness was wrong and I like how the mom responded!!!!! w.t.g mom!!!!
I cant believe he has nerve to say that.. People need to be up to year 2021 not back in 1960's . I am deaf I deal with his ignorance of today's society it's even worst with mask on ppl now are meaner agains those with disability , especially deaf. I should start my own video about REALITY !
doctor so happy to collect parent's money to pay bill and if not work and doctor still get more money from parent!!!!! AND PLUS Doctor profit from parent's health insurance money!!! that why doctor got TESLA SUV!!!
Yes it is unfortunate that the focus went away from the boys wish. Sadly the Santa did not know better. If the management he worked for gave him some tools/training it would have helped. Many people are still learning about the beauty of the deaf culture but many still need to learn. Good mom in teaching and making sure son knew that sign language was a good thing
I'm deaf come on.. over sensitive..Santa seem want to help or show care about his deafness.. probably sooo New to Santa..I'm sick of deaf going after .. look like they are looking for Big 💰 🤑 to lawsuit
I disagree… it is common issues that hearing insist that deaf go for co-implants when young.. nothing do with $$$$ … hearing people should never intervene our way of deaf life.
Oh whatever Eagle ... some deaf people that I know they are happy with co-implant ..of course some don't like it's free country to choose some being selfish on your own.. be grateful that we're not living in 3rd world without an interpreter, vp, even tty or even better Ssi ssdi unfortunately here in America we deaf people are OVER SPOILED and still complain! SAD!
to all comments. The intentions of Santa's were positive. Normal/average person often see a disabled person as a bad thing. Santa just wanted to show a care and compassion. Be understanding.
"Be understanding"? Tell me how? Do u realize Deaf people are "normal/average" people too. Why do hearing people ALWAYS labeled us (Deafies) as "disabled" but we actually aren't. That IS hearing people's mindset which it has been around for thousands of years. This is 2022 now so it is time for a change.
@@GiantTorpedoes I think it is known that's administration and medicine label deafness as disabled person. Same as blind or no arm/leg. So it's no surprise that's normies think's it's a bad thing especially when they never saw a Deaf person. All you need to is to show this person that's being Deaf is fine. Just like person who does not identifies himself as original gender (and if it doesn't do anything with appearance) than it shouldn't expect from every normies to say correct pronounce.
Wonder if Santa would ask about "fixing" a Blind child?
I felt so bad those little sweet boy and his parents that unexpected that Santa just say that omg
Love the parent's attitude toward positive approach to those ignorance people and keep educate out there repeatedly.
I love watching other sign languages from around the world. A bit to see how they're different, but more to see the similarities with ASL.
I wonder if Alex and this couple were using a mix of ASL and NZSL to help with clarity across the two languages.
We shouldn't expect Hearing people to walk on egg shell around us by what they are saying or asking questions about our deafness!
Santa. Should be canned. Fir. Oppressing way
I agree with them. Hopefully in the future would be better.

Send Santa back to North Pole and be fired 🤣

I totally agree with the boy''s parents right . I love to have ASL is very beautiful.
Sad Santa do not see it is disgusting by asking fix or surgery. Glad terp did not tell the boy but positive. She did good job
Well, if surgery on deaf ears to make it successful able to hear then it's still didn't work. 😞
