This yummy and versatile chocolate cake is made with ground hazelnuts and a touch of cinnamon for great texture and depth of flavour. You could easily double the recipe to make two cakes, which you could then sandwich and decorate to your liking.
Finding a recipe for a square cake tin isn't always easy, so if that's what you're after this cake is your answer! If you haven't got a 23cm square cake tin, you could also bake this cake in a 900g loaf tin. Bake at the same temperature but increase the baking time as needed.
