Tutor's not answering questions, but this process is ridiculously cumbersome. In Maya, you select your object, select your path, in the menus you go to 'attach to motion path'... DONE. From there you can tweak speed, acceleration, banking, etc. In Inventor, they have added what needs a 10-min video to complete. Absurd. I'm sorry, but Inventor SUCKS... at least for creating basic models and animations. Perhaps for physics sims it's superior.
