Hey. How have you been? I get to do fuel pump jobs The fuel pump went out in the WinStar and I haven’t posted any content on it yet, but I have purchased a different vehicle also. A 1995.5 Isuzu rodeo yes 3.2 L V6 with four-wheel-drive and manual transmission. I bought it with a slight lifter tick at 240,000 miles and I was driving it for a while and we had some warm days here in Colorado at the beginning of this week, and that’s when it quit. I noticed when I would turn the ignition on to start I couldn’t hear the fuel pump priming or anything. And if you try to start it just sits there and Kranks. Ever since I had bought it, when the engine would get real warm, sometimes it would act like a slight misfire or like it was losing power every so often and my thought was ignition module. I checked the ignition module and everything looks great. However, I found out it was the fuel pump. Oh and the ticking, well I found out from the previous owners that they had been using 5W 30 fulsome thetic. The owners manual and the oil cap both say 10W-30 conventional. So I put that in along with some Marvel mystery oil and that quieted it down quite a bit.
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. You guys did a good putting this together. Good job. 👍
