I wonder if they're a contract kitchen? Contract kitchens are businesses that license different menu items from sit-down restaurants to sell via home delivery. Many contract kitchens are used by higher end restaurants so they aren't taking up space with takeout orders. These people might have decided to open a sit-down space for directly delivery. Since they aren't representing themselves as the given restaurant, and have no cashiers or wait staff, they aren't really in direct competition with their contracted customers.

I like the idea of automated restaurants and fast food. No spitting in your food, no racism, less screaming Karen customers, and no tipping required. Speed and consistency will improve. Food prices should also be cheaper in theory since the restaurant won’t have to pay staff.

Curious to know where all the people who say this is expensive live. As in which country? In Australia this is what we would normally pay. Singapore prices are actually the same as you would pay in Australia. To us it's not expensive, it's what we normally pay, so it surprises me that people are saying that it's expensive. I've been to Norway, Sweden and Denmark .... if you want to know what expensive really is, go to those countries. I think I paid around AUD $35 for a burger, fries and coke in Denmark. Because they are wealthier countries everything costs way more. Of course to the locals of those countries its normal pricing.

Some people like to be alone especially if the populace you are supposed to interact with are a bunch of shitheads.
Putting short people’s orders on the top row. Even without human interaction they can still mess with you.
If it saves me the embarrassment of being asked "how's everything" with my mouth full of food I'm all for it
I like the idea of automated restaurants and fast food. No spitting in your food, no racism, less screaming Karen customers, and no tipping required. Speed and consistency will improve. Food prices should also be cheaper in theory since the restaurant won’t have to pay staff.
My brother gangsta until me choose vietnamese foods
Can I just say that you have very pretty hands
I was going to complain about the price of the burger meal until I saw that burger!! It was huge and looked so good.
Less human interaction? Perfect!
Those food service screens are amazing!

Futuristic? These have been around since 1895, they're called Automats.
1895?! Wow.
Oh wow
I doubt they look like this one back in 1895, bro. You know that tecnology advanced a lot since that year and most of the countries (I can speak for latinoamerica countries) doesn't have this futuristic restaurants yet.
This is so Black mirror.. kinda creepy
Deliveroo invents a magical food teleporting restaraunt, yet can't deliver to my town which is 2 feet away from a town that it does deliver to.
