I always chose to think the reason the Omnnitrix started mistransforming Ben was because he kept slamming the dial down (later even against walls), instead of just pressing it.
and also if he slams it down to hard it can confuse the dna and change into another alien
Even though this is the reboot it was stated that vilgax worked with azmuth.
i like it that the series explains more about the omitrix . the original, alien force and ultimate alien explain a lot but i think omniverse goes deeper in to it.

btw, you said something about transformations having a timer because the DNA merges with ben's DNA, I was curious as to the source of this note; cause, in the ben 10 vs green lantern death battle they also said something about this being the case, but I can't find a quote or pop up trivia that says so?

I feel like this info gets misinterpreted if ben's DNA literally being disfigured but I'm pretty sure that the actual reason is that since different aliens can have natural personality traits such as rath from AF being ultra aggressive and wildmut being somewhat feral and if ben remains in alien forms for too long their instincts can grow into Ben's human form and other transformations. E.g if ben stayed as wildmut for too long he may start behaving like a feral animal in his other alien forms in ways such as walking on all fours. It's complicated to explain but the DNA problem is not a physical thing that happens to ben but a mental thing
@@thestain8004 Yeah definitely possible. From what I've read the writers said its to prevent permanent merging. Ill try to find the source
@@misterkid9216 the whole merging thing would be reasonable if the master control option didn't completely contradict it since ben 10k was said to be constantly patrolling the earth as XLR8 and then is able to transform back to human no problem without any changes to his body. My point being that the original statement isn't credible since what happens in the show doesn't line up with that source

I have the original Omnitrix (deluxe version and the AF ones in my garage).
The reason the omnitrix sometimes maw functioned for no reason in og series was because it’s just a prototype so it can glitch randomly sometimes
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it can also make ice cream lol
had no money for a Omnitrix toy, but i did make an ultimatrix from a toilet paper roll and i had thing enough arm to wear it

The omnitrix never let him go into the alien he wanted because asmeth said one episode that it was not complete that’s why it never gave him the right alien he wanted just to let you know hope you have a good day

This is a great video, but I have one question that was kind of bothering me.
At 2:06 you mention that the 10 minute time limit was put into place in order to protect the user from permanent DNA merging, but I have no reference for where this fact came from. I've never seen any dialogue to support this and I'm not familiar with any bonus media that states this either. I know DEATH BATTLE mentioned something similar in their video featuring Ben 10, but they got multiple facts wrong about the omnitrix, so I was wondering if you could shed some light on to this.
Where does this statement come from?
