I am surprised that you have so few subscribers given your long time involvement in the woodhound community. That maul of yours is giving you more of a work out than the firewood round. Time to upgrade to a Fiskars X25 (28" handle. 36" might be too big for you).
You did an Excellent Job on that Video, with the Maul making nice nice Pieces of Oak Firewood. Thats what aIl I do Will, with a Fiskers Axe. I make my Rounds slout 10inches Long and Split them up more my Small Stove. I used to put a 16inch piece in it but sometimes it would not Fit. Dan, from Back 40 gave me an Idea, and it works wonderful. Its good People like you Will that makes it Worthwhile for me to Watch. Enjoy Will and be Safe out there. I can't make it to the Paul Bunyan Show but some day I will. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY. PS, YOU WILL MAKE 500 BEFORE YOU CAN SAY WOOD.
Dude, I totally understand busting that big stuff up, but you have a 390 now. Sharpen that chain, play with the rakers and let er rip tater chip!!! Nice video, you're a hard working man Will ❤ see ya soon in ohio brother 💪
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it. I love hand-splitting. For me, I prefer to not use a block - the extra work to move the rounds up on the block isn't worth the gain. If I was using an axe versus a maul, I may have a different view. Keep up the good work!
Hello Will, nice to someone smart enough to use a chopping block👏🏻👍🇺🇸
The big ones were too big sadly

Thank you for the view and ill be testing an axe out here soon enough
Will you will get better leverage with it on the ground due to your height or just get a shorter chopping block.
Very good point
@@OutsidewithScheib is that a short joke?
