@@MrBlaxjax It was smashing when I used those 313 EMU’s under Silverlink Metro to North Woolwich, although pretty poor at Highbury, as towards the end, staff on platforms were shouting through megaphones, what a racket, treating people like trash to get on a train at rush hour.
There are automatic announcements as well, I think because it was opening day they were also doing a lot more manual announcements to welcome people to the new line
@Lazer Benabba Crossrail is the mode. Elizabeth is the line. You are not wrong to call it Crossrail but calling it that is no better than calling it the Elizabeth line.
@Lazer Benabba i agree. Queenie already has a line named in her honour, crossrail is more descriptive, and it's not a tube line as line also implies. It's also just 2 syllables, I also like calling it the purple train. I'm also no monarchist
Custom House is lot better than it was before.
Nice video 👍 looking forward to going on it!
Excessive noise pollution from the PA announcements at Custom House, as could see crowds of people either side of its yellow line.
Agreed, that is beyond annoying. What a tool. They need to stop that ASAP
@@MMBaus Gotta make sure the PA can be herd miles away
I agree. It's insane. We want relaxing efficiency. Being yelled at should play no part of running a transport system unless there's an emergency.

@@MrBlaxjax Apparently some using the tunnel section Stations on Crossrail have slated it for having no toilets 🚽.
Nah when this train was the tlf i already knew this was Elizabeth line cuz it looked the same :)
I Love the Elizabeth line
Great video. ☺️
Are the manual announcements permanent or they'll change to automatic?

Elizabeth Line

This is the 2022st
Wow these accelerate fast!

And guess what everybody London underground has 12 lines now but the Elizabeth line its a different underground
as i can see its 12 trains per hour but are they going to increase that at some point ?
Yes, when the Reading and Shenfield branches are connected to the core.
