Hey Jordan, you have an ambitious road ahead of you, my friend! :) Quite the series you have going! With regards to the Hunger of the Gods... I'm with you. This is why I'm not taking a break between the Farseer Trilogy (Robin Hobbs) books. I know that if I wait too long, I'll forget what happened and will lose some immersion. Happy reading, my friend! :)
I wanted to love Art of Prophecy so much! Very disappointed that it ended up not working for either of us at the time. I haven't decided if I'm ever going to give it another chance.
I enjoyed The Bone Ships, although it took me a while to get into. I actually immersion read it, audiobook with the physical. I like your title The Bone Boats much more haha
I'm not jiving with Bloodsworn :( I think his chars aren't for me. And i worry i won't like WoT prose either 😅 Bone Ships world-building was tricky for me too at the start! Hope physical works better for you because after grasping the world, i loved it!
Yeah I feel the world building would be more enjoyable in Bone Boats as a physical read since it's really dense at first. But I'll def give it a shot sometime down the road
@@BoiledJellyfishReads I’m attempting Of Blood and Bone now but The Rain Wild Chronicles has caused me to temporarily lose the ability to enjoy books so I’m struggling with it along with everything else I try to read right now 🙃

Definitely ambitious to try and revisit after having a TBR pile taller than my house. Good luck on Farseer!
@@BoiledJellyfishReads Thanks! I'll need it. ;)
Great video Jordan! I DNFd Wheel of Time as well, but I have no plans to try again.
Don't blame you! It's an absolute massive commitment

Maybe one day you'll have the urge for Asian fantasy and get back to it :)

Always gotta get on the alliteration

Bloodsworn was a DNF for me too. I read the first two and just didn’t care at all about what was happening. Made me sad since I loved FatF so much 😕
Yeah I enjoyed FatF and not so much with Hunger of the gods. Maybe I'll get on Blood and bone

DNFing is one reason why I’m scared to start the wheel of time. The series is so long what if I get 5 or 6 books in and never finish it.
It's a huge investment and sad if you DNF so late in the game. That's why I want to get back to it since I invested so much already
I have stalled out on blood sworn as well
Yeeeah I definitely kicked myself in the butt on giving too large of a break between the two
Wot - I DNFed book 2, couldn't get into it
I want to experience why it's regarded so high! Hence why I keep wanting to come back to it
Mark Lawrence isn't for me at all
Finished prince of thorns, it was aight.
you're a brave jelly lol
💪🪼💪
I vote WoT lol
Some day...
