Funny thing, when CBS used to air all the Charlie Brown tv specials, York Peppermint Patty was one of the sponsors. I kept thinking of the cartoon character named Peppermint Patty, but then I found out it was a chocolate candy with peppermint flavoring inside of it. Also funny thing about Lifeline from G.I.Joe, in the 1980s cartoon, he's a pacificist medic, so he won't carry weapons. Then the action figure comes out and it shows him holding a gun on the card art and cardbacks. I had no idea about the cereal box mail away. The character was in the cartoon series from 1986-1987 I believe? I don't think he was brought back for the late 80s miniseries, G.I. Joe: Operation Dragonfire or for the 1990s continuation of that miniseries simply called G.I. Joe which streamlined the cast down to a mix of old and new characters: General Hawk, Duke being two of the returning Joes. Lady Jaye returned for one season minus Flint. Then Flint returned for the 2nd season where Scarlett was brought back, but was romantically paired with Duke rather than Snake Eyes like in the comics. Destro, Baroness, Zaranna and the brought back to human form Cobra Commander were the only returning bad guys for both seasons. Serpentor was turned, supposedly only temporarily, into an Iguana or Gila Monster by Cobra Commander in Operation Dragonfire after Baroness managed to turn the snake form of Cobra Commander back into a man. I believe Major Blood came back for the 2nd and final season of the early 1990s series. Then Snake Eyes returned as part of the Ninja Force for G.I. Joe as did Storm Shadow who defected from Cobra to the Joes. Sargent Slaughter, Low-Light, Spirit, Mutt and Junkyard I remember coming back for the 1990s series or maybe just for the miniseries, but Sargent Slaughter seemed to get shown the most as did Lowlight.

When Kellogs put this mail away out they did not want him to have a weapon associated with the cereal brand so they made him without the gun and changed the legs to remove the holster. A cool variant I think. So glad I could get him for you!
