MCI WALK Kit Overview from North American Rescue

The MCI WALK kit from North American Rescue has been developed to provide first responders such as EMS, Firefighters, and Tactical Law Enforcement with the capability to address multiple patients in the event of a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI).

I would add some Trauma Shears to cut off clothing and hypothermia/space blankets. Military bag should be FDE, OD Green or Multi-cam. Kits used to come with a VS-17 panel to signal as well.

This type of thing being rushed into the concert venue in Vegas would have been a major life saver. At the very least bystanders would have been more capable of applying aid.

Agreed. I am blessed to have recently convinced our local church/attached Christian academy to invest in several bleeding control kits for the facility as well as allowing me to come in and instruct people in their usage. There's no reason to think that we're somehow exempt from being visited by violence and I absolutely agree that the more that bystanders are instructed in what to do, the better the outcome will be for more people. (I'm an EMT-B, by the way) Well said and well stated.

Every family should carry one of these packs where ever they go and get the proper training in Triage and how to treat various wounds/injuries on patients for first aid level.
