@@akimitsumusic just spent a crisp 3 hours on Mesmer yesterday… I couldn’t even learn the pattern of any of his attacks because I had to execute said pattern perfectly 😭

Such an incredible boss. Finished the DLC today and fought him. One of the best bosses in the series imo, at least atmospherically
I thought we were the lord of frenzied flame. Is this basically what would've happened to us? Glad I haven't gotten that ending yet....
The DLC kind of takes place in the past, albeit in an alternate aspect of the past. So it's kind of what could have been but never was?

Should i fight him or burn erdtree first?
it makes no difference, I burned the erdtree and only then I fight him, I just didn't kill the final boss
Weak to holy?
Anyone experience a weird lingering hitbox during his phase transition Nuke? I ran across the room to get out of range of the explosion and then jump the shockwave i avoided it but the moment my character lands i took damage then i got knocked down. It caught me off guard at laughed cause it looks like my character broke her ankles after the landing.

Can you parry midra?
Yes. And it's fun when you get the timing right. You need to parry 3 times to get the crit
