I totally agree with you on the Muled Cider candle from Walmart. It is my absolute favorite for the fall. I grab them each year, it smells much more expensive than it is.
I love the table linens: napkins, runners, and tablecloths. I'd like a look for less of these items if you are taking suggestions. It's over 100 degrees where I live so I'm really looking forward to fall.🍁🍂🌾
I’m definitely crazy about the deer-dot-dishes. I just cannot bring myself to purchase, though. I’m too much of a tightwad…so I purchased a huge lot of Winterberry dishes, glasses, silverware, etc….from FB MP for $50. Ugh. I’ll never be quite as satisfied with them, though…..
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm asking a serious question. The table scapes are lovely, but where do you put the food? Unless you have footmen to serve each guest from a sideboard, I'm just not getting it. Buffet?
On the kitchen island, side board, kitchen counters…or you have the decor there until the meal and arrange it to add the food. When I had company at my larger home, I set the table in an advance…we all claimed a place setting and took the plate off of the charger and filled it at the kitchen island…moving around it from dish to dish. Does that sound like a good strategy?
My mom loved beautiful tablescapes. She would set up a buffet on the kitchen counters. It was a running joke that we didn't move her plants or plates. The family understood how much she loved pretty things and worked around it. I cherish those memories and how much effort she put into it.❤
You can’t tell the real smell of a candle until you burn it. Unfortunately, I found that out the hard way. I personally love Bath and Body Works 3 wick candles. I have my personal favorites, and they burn very evenly. I always wait till they’re on sale, tho. And you can return them, there, if you dont like them.
