Useful video, thanks. How long should the GT 2e take to connect to GPS when walking/running (and not connected to the phone). Mine is taking around 5 mins to find a satellite, I am in the countryside, no tall buildings around!
mine connects pretty much instantly, however i do have my phone connected and with me at all times. Just running a quick test with the GT2e with no phone attached, it does look like it takes much longer to connect - well spotted. Huawei take note!
Hi... Will the huawei watch gt2e be able to support Google maps remotely from the watch and will you be able to download 3rd party app onto the watch... If not... I would like to recommend huawei to do this... There will be alot more sales because an average user like me wants all the sport capabilities and the smartwatch ones as well... Thanks
Hi Hamzah, thank you for taking your time to comment. The GT2e is unlikely to gain the google maps feature, although we do agree that would be an incredible feature during a run/cycle or general navigation. The reason is more than likely the battery aspect of the watch. Huawei's previous watches had smart apps on them but the battery would have to be charged every day if not twice a day *and if you're going for a 2 hour cycle you don't want the GPS to drain the battery mid workout.* Let's see if Huawei can pull of some sort of hybrid watch with smart apps and retain battery life. Feel free to subscibe we've got some awesome videos coming up and would love you input 👍
If you want ability to take calls on your smartwatch it has to be the GT2. The GT2e offers active watch faces, more workout modes and has a more sporty design so if you like look of it and are happy to sacrifice the calling feature go for the GT2e. My money is on the GT2 - love that watch

Stuck on a decision between the GT2 and the Gt2e....

GT2e Does not have the microphone and the speaker so you can't receive calls like the GT2!
Yes that is correct, good spot!
Show the watch not yourself
