- Our annual Kingston drone montage is here! We made this for you fellow Kingstonians, and for those that live out of town but still hold Kingston dear in your heart. Enjoy this video and audio experience that you've never seen before, all created by local talent!

I left Kingston for a job in 1997 and I'm retiring in 2027 and I'm coming home for my retirement. This song is exactly how I feel. I have never felt at home since I left Kingston. I can't wait to be back for good.
Beautiful little city. So many historic buildings, and beautiful old residences. Loved the song and the video. Looked it up because my mom was born in Kingston. Will never understand why their family left there for Saskatchewan ! Anyway, thank you.

I found my home because of the Song.
I’d been far and beyond, i wasn’t there... my prayer touched the sky wisphering where am i? Pls. take me home in the land where i belong...Ive beem to the farthest , the hot desserts of the lands of Africa,I dreamed of America but my youth didn’t take me there ...today, my fate turned around like a speedboat in the middle of the sea when my son told me .... Mom I gonna get you one day to Kingston. And so i searched for KINGSTON as he told me. The song played and tells me I must Go to Kingston.
One of the lines in the song references "Where Fiddler's Greene resides" and I was kind of taken aback. From 1979-1982 I owned and operated what was Kingston's first B&B on Alfred Street aptly named Fiddler's Greene. Curious to know who wrote this song and when it was written. Was it actually my Fiddler's Greene or something that came along later.
I know that the Tragically Hip did a song called “Fiddlers Green”, and they were from Kingston.
That lyric refers to the Tragically Hip song 'Fiddler's Green', and during that lyric is a shot of the crowd that was there for the final Tragically Hip concert which was in Kingston...and there is a dove flying across the screen during the shot...we loved it!!!

Wow, that is lovely
one of my favorite attraction in Kingston, is Ontario lake, especially in the summer of Kingston, the weather is beautiful, the sun is very shining, the sky is very blue, people like to swim in the water near the shore, when I feel tired or want to home, I will go for a walk by the lake, I also like to take off the shoes on the stone, feel the waves rippling, feel the sunshine, watching the children playing in the lake, feel very relaxed and happy.

I visit Kingston in the winter it was a beautiful beautiful I can’t wait for this summer I’m going back for a visit and I’m thinking to sell my house in Windsor Canada and buy another house in Kingston and live the rest of my life over there I will never feel boring that’s how beautiful this city

I left Ottawa with my wife and son in hopes to find a better home for our family, come to be, it’s been a disaster and not accommodating to kids what so ever as there isn’t even a hospital for children,
