This video is amazing. Helped me al lot. Thank you so much champ
great video man, just started getting back into chel and this explained it perfectly😭❤
love to hear it
Great video
Thanks!
Thx!!!!!!
Do these mechanics still work the same in nhl 24???
Great video man, love it. Do you try to aim the shot low or high as a lefty?
High Goes in more frequently, Low is still effective but not nearly as Consistent
Is it necessary to hold the right stick back? What does it change? I feel like im getting one timers just flicking the stick up and that's it. Are there any pluses to waiting while holding back?
Make Sure your holding l2/lt and youll see your guy bring his stick back. if you arent doing that part then its gonna be the exact same as just hitting up. it offers Consistency. Your guy opens up and prepares to hit it so your Always ready for you guy to hit the puck cleanly on a single follow through instead of catching and releasing on a wrister. if the pass isn't as ideal. the easiest way for you to see the effectiveness of it is to hit freeskate with a buddy or take off one T perk and see how hitting just up works for you. then try manuals without it as well and you'll see the difference. hitting just up is a lesser way to do it. still works but this gets you the Consistency as just hitting up doesn't always square up your body position, meaning you'll get some poor animations off the shot. It's not always necessary, and you absolutely can succeed by just hitting up but if you want to be better at 1ts learn the situations to manual.
We need some tots forwards in hut that have gold one tee
Great video! Do you need wrist shot accuracy/power or slap shot accuracy/power for better one one tees?
Depends what type of shot you are performing. Generally from further out a majority get a slap shot boost but if I'm super close to the net and my guy is doing flicks instead of clappers will use Ws that's why I manual most of my one timers to gaurentee I'm using slapshot as my boost
Okay, thank you. What rating would you say is high enough for consistent one tees?
Please tell me how you got into a team practice like this, my friends desperately need to be taught many things and I couldn't for the life of me find it in nhl23 😅
Go to your teams club Dressing Room the hit Square on Playstation or X on Xbox and switch the settings to practice open practice and that will allow you to play in freeskate with your friends
@RedChamp thank you very much king 🤴
Great video. What are your skating styles set at?
I will make a video later on
I’m having trouble hitting a one tee on the right side and I’m a righty but on the left dots it’s very easy any tips?
Same here
Nice video what is best Accuracy / power slap and hand eye very important for 1tee or 80 is good
I Use 88 and hit about 95% of my shots when done perfectly. Around 80 I find your shooting like 40-50% of the perfectly open ones still might miss. 81 shows improvement like a breakpoint but I'd recomend 81+ on any class that isn't sniper and for Sniper go 88 accuracy vs Ai 85 on humans
Pwr is important too above 88 on sniper and 84+ on all others otherwise will end up being abit underwhelming
Hey man thank you but now I’m in nhl 24 and how do you go in practice with friends
Goto your club lobby where you would play a eashl game hit sqaure for ps x for xbox and then change to practice and open practice instead of scrimmage
so how do you one tee to have the best chance to score what buttons do you press
Did you watch the video? lol it explains it. but in short for you Make sure your over 50% of the Net on your strong shooting side and hold l2/lt and pull back on Right analog as puck comes hit up on Rs while holding L2/lt still and once you get used to it you can have a consistent shot without the fumbles all the time
How did you do practice mode with your EASHL teammate?
goto your club lobby hit Square on Ps on and x on xbox cycle it to practice mode and do open practice
Any reason why when you shoot one tee is going orange isntead of green?
Less then ideal Situations meaning like not a perfect pass or timed perfect shot but kinda irrelevant still puts the puck in the net. Similar to Elite Edges where you can use it and it's not always green because you aren't always burning a defender its showing it's active
@@RedChamp what about close quarters i am always getting orange with that while others are getting green
@@dez916maybe that's when the puck isn't settled?
Do you know what difficulty eashl 6v6 is on?
All star is the online competitive Default
When I try this I struggle. A pass comes to me, I’m holding LT and flick down them up with right stick and my guy always takes a touch first or straight up does nothing
Make sure your giving your guy the appropriate time to wind up. If you hold LT and Hold down on rs your guy will skate with his stick up and then you can hit up when puck comes and have smoother follow through on one timers. This way is effective until you have the timing down do to it really quickly but this way works equally as successful you'll just have your stick up
@@RedChamp does the pass have to be accurate too? I think thats a reason why it doesn’t work sometimes
@hazey4713 Yes to a extent passes are super important Gold one 1t helps alot with getting off clean shots off bad passes but silver isn't as gracious and gives less reaction time
i feel like i’m holding lt and right stick back waiting for the loss but when it comes my guy just doesn’t take a 1 tee and i don’t know why
Are you pressing up before the pass reaches you? or just holding L2 and back on rs? cause you do have to go forward on rs as well. also bad passes can impact as well if they are too far out of your one timer zone
@@RedChamp holding lt and back on rs brings stick back but then when i click rs forward it always touches then shoots not 1 tee, sometimes i feel like i hold my stick up for too long tho
@smartyman1293 So you don't have to hold Right stick Up, Only hold Right stick down then while still holding L2 and down release right stick and press up on Right stick. You can Que up the shot meaning in nhl23 you don't have to be too particular about the timing u just have to do the motions if it's too early it's not a problem but if it's too late on your swing your guy will catch it/do a wrister
@@RedChamp huh ok i’ll play tmrw and lyk how it goes
@@RedChamp thanks for the help
Is right or left stick better for one timer?
what do you mean? you use both sticks left one Aims right stick shoots and is important for timing. if you mean right or left handed rights have it abit easier imo but it's very easy on lefts too
@@RedChamp ok yh I meant left right handed
I need this with handcam
haha I'll look into getting that stuff set up I don't currently have one
First
Wtb for 24
Hold L2 press up lol. Unfortunately for 24 this style is punished alot more. meaning you'll whiff on passes more frequently if your timing is off or passes aren't good. so in 24 the best way is to hold l2/LT to position and Then press up as the puck comes while still holding L2/LT (BODY POSITION IS IMPORTANT) so learn from this video how to position yourself to get good shots off
Games are 5v5 not 2v0.
Fundamentals And the way the game function are the same whether it's 2v0 or 5v5 while it's easier in these situations if you don't know the small details and aren't comfortable doing them when it's open how effective will you be when its crowded with 5 other defenders against you.
