Well captured and well done on the camera work Peter. Those 473 BYD’s almost have a rear end like a Volvo Alisa or a Leyland Titan. Could be wrong but does have similar design. With the dirt on the bus it must be a winter thing in the UK as most buses in winter in the UK are covered in it. Must be the roads or something. Well done Peter on the work as always 😀.
Some 11 and 61 plate Eclipse Geminis still around. Older than the First ones we have around here! 😂 Stagecoach seems to be keeping up its standards of presentation, though.
At Romford, the 86, 128 and 294 have evening drivers and at Barking, the 179 and 238 do. I seem to remember this stuff just as much as a typical bus enthusiast remembers fleet codes!
@@BristolRE Preferably routes without peak hour traffic and crowds interfering with an evening service, as my logic is that evening drivers are not for school/work journeys but only to take you further down to parties!
I rarely watch these types of RUclips recordings but many years ago in my youth (as I lived and still do in the North London area although not Muswell Hill anymore) I remember the 104 used to run between Finsbury Square (in the City of London) to Barnet Church via East Finchley. The 212 used to run between Muswell Hill Broadway and Finsbury Park station which now operates in east London having been replaced by the W7, and the 244 in southeast London also used to run in North London from Muswell Hill Broadway to Winchmore Hill in the borough of Enfield, and if I remember correctly was a single decker. Also some time back route 25 used to run from Ilford to Oxford circus.
New buses on the 473 route judging on the electric blinds, looks like quite a boxy bus. I quite enjoyed riding the routes from Stratford (473) and Canning Town (474) to the docklands around City Airport a while back. Often quite a quiet part of the city (counters Stratford's busy madness quite nicely) and from a bus or the DLR it is a really good part of the city to appreciate the everchanging skyline. Quite a variety of scenery from those routes. Also a lot of London is very fast paced but the east is a lot calmer I noticed.
@BristolRE That's subjective. I'm sure it will be successful in London. Good to see a new OEM challenging the current incumbents. Shame we have no Mercedes or Scania in London
@lennoncroucher6960 oh, so I was completely wrong! Thank you sir for putting me right. Us women really shouldn't pay attention to buses, should we?! Lol

Thank You. Yes, definitely a winter thing here!
I love the byds it looks emotionless 😅
Lol
Quite a few of those buses could do with a good wash!
As fast as you wash them they get dirty again the next day in this weather!

Indeed! Lol
Good Video Peter!
Too many buses at Stratford lol 😂
The new EBD buses suits the 473 route, loving the style.
Thanks, Lol. Those new buses on the 473 are ugly beyond belief!
@ lol I like them for some reason 😂
@@fearless_huseyin 😲😲 I believe a Specsavers appointment is what you need 😂😂

Lol. You're obsessed with routes having evening drivers!

Those new buses look awful
@BristolRE I agree I thought they were life sized versions of the cheap plastic toy buses you can get in a tourist shop lol
@@BristolRELondres seguirá teniendo autobuses de dos pisos?
@@joseollero3788 Yes, always
@@aaronsmith9209 That's the best description of them yet that I've heard! Lol
Nice video Peter, i never keen on LED blinds on London Buses as some times the bulbs burn out and it flickers the camera whenever you’re filming.
Indeed
West ham game was on if this was recorded same day, the new 473 buses looks alright
Thought the area was busy with people dressed for Football
Nice video Peter
Thanks
Nice video keep it up
Thanks
@BristolRE you are welcome
nice vid peter
Thanks
Why does route 25 use diesel buses?
Depends what the contract specifies
BYD's integrated EV bus is a interesting addition to GA's fleet in London.
Ugly, that's for sure!

Pollution in london is so bad how tf do electric buses have that much dirt on them
Indeed!
The byd’s are already dusty??
Indeed, Lol
Can someone tell me this, those '20' reg Enviro400 mmc in the video, are they hybrids or electric?
Diesel, some of the last batches before they became hybrids only. Think the last ones went to Arriva London but could be wrong

Interesting that the 86 Electroliners have power blinds
Yes indeed
6:21. This is how, majority of pedestrians are injured in London 😮
Yes indeed!
Cant believe the new Buses on the 473 already have dirt like they have been on the road for 2 years, that's not a very good thing.
I'm guessing the bus wash is broken
@BristolRE Yeah,always a case of that.
@Bobbyandmog 👍👍
Rip G2 on 473 🪦
Why are the BD11’s so dirty already go ahead London 😂😂
Because of the bad weather and I'm guessing the bus wash must be broken at henley garage
Bus wash likely broken I guess
