    Maybe a long shot, but any chance you know how would I wire up a air compressor that has three capacitors? I have two runs and one start. This is an Ingersoll Rand 2475N7.5 2 stage compressor. 7.5hp.

      The main purpose of increasing the capacitors is to increase the value of the capacitors.

      A higher value should be applied to the starting capacitor and a lower value to the run capacitor.

      Stating capacitor 100/150/200uf -- 230V

    Can use both starter capacitor?

      The voltage value of running capacitor is high and the microfarad value is low. Because of the rms voltage, the capacitor which has a high voltage should be used as running capacitor.
      The voltage value of starting capacitor is low and the microfarad value is high.

    Does the run capacitor wired correct? When motor runs, it bypass the run capacitor!

      Yes friend run capacitor connection curect.The centrifugal switch disconnects the starting capacitor after starting the motor.
      motor is then driven by a run capacitor.

      I see that there is series connection between the running capacitor and the auxillary and main winding. Does the current passes through the auxillary winding? or no? if no, please explain

      Actually starting winding is cut after start the motor, but in this it is always connected

      A 50uf / 400v capacitor should be inserted between the two phases to supply two phases

      First identify the running winding / starting winding / common wire / centrifugal switch wire of the motor. Then connect the starting capacitor and running capacitor as shown in the video.

      I know I need to swap red and black wires to change direction, what I don't know is what the hell I do with the cap since the red wire is going into both caps before the motor. Do I swap red before the caps or after right before it goes into the motor
