    I’m in love with the design and the final look!!!! I do want to mention that the windows remind me more of gothic windows than renaissance which feels fitting for the entire scene.

Ps: if you ever want to up the challenge on these acrylic layer pieces, try painting it on the back side of the acrylic to show the image on the clean side. 😁

    Here is a tip/trick for you to try next time, if the acrilic is a bit thick you can further enhace this effect by painting some details in the back of the acrilic and some on the front, and as you continue to build layer upon layer believe me that this will help to create something unique as light and shadow dance together to create an ilusion.

  • @jordansinclair3118
    @jordansinclair3118 5 месяцев назад +6

    I love your work, the 3D effect is so cool! I have a random idea that might not actually work, but maybe you could incorporate electronics into this. You could add some glowing lights in between some of the background layers and you could make smaller pieces of acrylic for clouds or other objects that could be moving with some motors. Maybe the bottom where the acrylic is standing could be a pcb (circuit board). Sorry, I’m an engineer, I can’t help it 😅. You could even have the piece interact differently when people are looking at it by changing the lights or something!

    hey jazza for next time when you do an acrylic painting, try painting the acrylic from the back and using black lines around the character to achieve a cartoony/anime effect with your characters. A good example is the works from Seethrough Scenes on RUclips.

    Feels like it's to much of the distance between the layers. Or this space should be filled with additional layers, with added slightly foggy or blurry texture to cover the background. Also perspective makes foreground layers look bigger wich leads to empty corners, so each new layer should be smaller than previous

    I loved it! Probably my favorite you you have done! I agree with others that it would be cool to see how scaling down the panels with each layer may improve the effect. It's worth trying! I would have chose a color other than red for the cloth on the statue. Imagine how well that character would pop off of a deep green or something in the background.

    First off, awesome piece Jazza! That last layer really made things pop in a way I didn’t expect it to!
    I’ll help Jazza out and say I just got through Ch1 of Honkai Star Rail and it was freaking awesome! Even the EN cast killed it and I’m not typically someone to leave their game in EN.

    This was such a cool project!! I'm also shocked that the game itself is free to play?? From the screengrabs in the video it seems like such a high quality game!!

    Love how randomly the backing track for Jort Storm makes an appearance (yes i know its just a random epidemic sound track, still hilarious).

    I don’t play it but, i’m so happy my fave seiyuu Aimi is part of such a popular franchise as Serval ^^ she deserves to be known more in the world, cause she’s amazing as a VA and Singer !
