I my opinion ghost are appealing, for their powers and how they represent wandering souls , full of hatred and despair . Ghosts are mostly seen in a negative light as rejected souls, who lost their way between physical and celestial realm. When a man sees a ghost of something or someone so dear to him even long after it disappearance, him or hers passing, it may be a good sign (love, true love restricts anyone doing harm) or giving hope that someday we will be together again. But until that happy day, all that's left for us - to loyally wait and be as good and noble as possible, so our loved ones would not be ashamed of us when we meet (I hope and truly believe that if you love there is nothing to be ashamed of and - apparently - nothing is unforgivable).
@REGNUM UMBRAE, I must especially thank you for this piece, Hercule Poirot is my favorite detective. Although a bit sad, that is a chance to walk with that noble man once again.

Love it, this is hauntingly beautiful..I love the flashing of the distant clouds and the vacant water ways..took me back to a memory of a lost love. When my Dad passed away my Mom's Doctor asked her if she still talked to Dad..he said " He can still hear you.. he's just beyond a wall you cannot see." Yes, I believe in ghosts/spirits..I talk to both my parents who have passed everyday. ❤❤
