NO FREAKING WAY!!! At 23:15 that’s actually me and my family! We came all the way from Phoenix to watch the trains and the find the camera. Thank you virtual Railfan for putting us on your video! We really appreciate it!
They're pretty good about putting waving folks on the grab bag (I've been on it a few times as I live near the Chehalis cam). Glad to see you got into this one!
Trains are neat
Two trains are a treat
Three trains are a feast - and 3 3-ways are an overload - of enjoyment to the highest degree.
Galesburg is a delight because so many signals / aspects can be seen in daylight or darkness. Thank you for the double drop, first at the station head and then the overhead signal. Very nice. Plus, it was nice to see the Seaboard Passenger car there too.
The Ashland clock was really moving time!
Thanks for all you do.
17:19 Red flashing lights, and a gate coming down on you, will earn you two things: 1. Boings. and 2. Video posted on Virtual Railfan!
Another GREAT one....
"ALL ABOARD" , classic
I loved the 3 way meets but the GT units were mind blowing.
Hey virtual railfan we love ur vids from Kearney nebraska!
I always wave back when someone waves 😀. This grab bag had more waves than I've ever seen.
Great video have a great night
I've never seen a rail grinder train with crew cars before. That was very unexpected.
16:30 - That Grand Trunk trio was very sweet.
I'm waiting for the day when we get at least a 4 way or 6 way at Santa fe junction. It could happen
The coil car at 16:38 is Illinois Central
like those gtw locomotives with new paint
24:07 Best "All Aboard" I've heard!
Wow super super train
I’m yelling at the video IT SHOULD OF BEEN ME!
Ican't wait to see some green in these videos
8:36 Man, they seemed to have really neglected #48's 4. That's number 48 as number 8 was wrecked in an accident in 2007 on the Pere Marquette.
I swear that was a brand new Chevy Equinox that stopped in Lagrange after passing the gate until it backed up and the gate land on it.
Yes, the video I’ve been waiting for!
Okay, be honest, how many of you knew a train couldn't have more than 15 refrigerated cars in one train before seeing this before? I sure didn't!
LOL, true, and how many of us have the time to read all the Big Players Rulebooks?
question is why? the Tropicana juice trains that still runs Fla to NJ have more than 15
At 333to335,the last car on that train was really rocking,I wouldn’t want to be in that car.
0:35 I had no idea there were limits on the number of reefers BNSF could run in one train! Union Pacific has run trains of just 70 reefers
1:54 three P42s and a Seabord lounge car on the California Zephyr
4:08 Loram grinder in Canada with a couple of extra sleeper cars
5:20 the Wichita museum's 4-wheel diesel moving a caboose and FP45 93!
7:38 4-unit light power move
7:46 7-unit lash-up that's mostly NS units in Arizona
8:11 CN triple-header in KC!
11:55 BC Rail heritage unit leading solo!
12:12 the Ashland clock springing forward!
12:46 Strasburg snowplow being pushed by 8618
15:00 three-way zipper at Santa Fe Junction!
16:18 they left the doors open, but tied them together
16:28 WOAH! Three GT blue Geeps on one train! I hope they aren't going to be repainted in CN black and red
17:44 wind turbine heads as big as a locomotive!
18:50 a nice variety of old hoppers
love my friend my sister cole, hope he enjoyed this grabbage! wonderful day, anaise
wonderful day!
Excellent Video

Have you ever encountered a situation where a train with mixed foreign power had 2 locos with the same number?
Birds flying North, North west. Spring? Loco with snow on roofs, Spring? Will soon be the season of the long rails trains, we have already had the agro tractor trains. Do wind turbine gearbox/generator constitute a high wide load restricting route availability? They appear wider then the car they sit on.
Why 15 refers max?
As per Rule 3b under "Speed - Maximum" on BNSF timetables:
"Trains consisting entirely of double stack and spine car equipment (car kind codes QU, QK, QV, QW, QT, QX, QY, QM, QC, QO, Q5, QE) must not average more than 105 tons per operative brake.
In addition, the intermodal trains described above may also handle as many as 15 refridgerated box cars identified as "Super Reefers" - BNSF 793110 thru BNSF 794112, provided train does not exceed 90 TOB."
@@jerremeejones900 Thank you
I saw bnsf 6022 in Cambridge Nebraska
Missed the Santa Fe War Bonnet on the point of train in Ft Madison
We "miss" very little, but we only have so much time to stuff so much in. Probably 50+% of the clips don't make it.
Amtrak at Galesburg (1:57) picked Madam and myself up in Truckee on 14th. Private car was still there. On-board crewmember told me it's returning east on Thursday 3/17.
Nice
23:15 Hi Carlos and Family! 👋
23:32 What a Meet!
Nicecatch on the Soo Line.
0:40 Why are trains not allowed to have more than 15 reefers?
UP used to run 50 car produce trains out of California. What rule is this?
I wonder if its 15 when handling intermodal equipment. Had that been a straight manifest train im guessing it wouldnt matter
Aesome!
Even the station crew wanted to take a photo of the private car
14:29 3-way = Yes, Double Zipper = ? Wouldn't a Double Zipper exist only if all three trains were traveling in the same direction? (Maybe it's a Double Broken Zipper ? 🤣 😀 😂 🤓)
Why are only 15 reefers allowed per train?
I want to know too!
1:11 That engineer is welcome to come over and wash my windows. 17:44 Are those parts for wind turbines?
Yes, hubs and nacelles for turbines.
i think you in the states call it switching not shunting
Yep 👍
Anyone know why 15 is the max number of reefers allowed?
Why was that other car blurred out.?
Nothing was blurred in this GB. If you put a timestamp (like 25:01) it would be easier for us to know what you are pointing out.
If you mean at Galesburg wuth the Zepher leaving, the blur was caused by exhaust from the engine
17:50 Are those windmill generators?
Not sure. The cars are owned by Kasgro Rail Lines, based in Pennsylvania....
Yes they are... you have the generator pods and the windmill blade knuckles.
Power. galore on Therese BNSF units. I venture to guess that some of Therese trains. that. have 8 to 12
units on the head end. some are.
going back to shuffle. back to their
point. of origin serviced. fueled. sand etc.
What does the max 15 reefers per rulebook scenario mean, what it applies to and why is it the case?
Why are they only allowed 15 refrigerated cars per train? Anyone know reason behind rule. Have a video of that CN Engine that went thru Revelstoke in Lethbridge, Alberta on my channel. Check it out.
As a previous comment mentioned:
As per Rule 3b under "Speed - Maximum" on BNSF timetables:

@@sterlingodeaghaidh5086 Is there a particular reason behind this rule.
@@trainstractorscarsandtruck7362 idk
@@sterlingodeaghaidh5086 OK thanks for replying.
More Pac-Man Fun at 18:54!
Hi
Gp40 похож на чмэ3
I still dont understand the meaning of grab bags. Could someone explain?
Unique catches from throughout the day.
Google (or any search engine, really) can answer many questions about many topics. Try it, it a great way to learn new things
Believe that the Virtual Railfan team thinks that these are the most interesting train movements caught by their many cameras scattered throughout their system since the last Grab Bag.
It’s a compilation video of some of the most interesting or fun catches from our cameras.
@@annaf7812 I think you meant compilation. It isn't complicated at all. LOL
Норм видео и да вас из России смотрят
i enjoyed 7.00 plus the shunting movements something a bit differant from the normal grab bag
Is the concept of backing up too hard? SMH
Well if the windshield is scratched it's on the driver.
