- today we check out the Monterey Bay knives (mbk old guard) old guard! designed by rat laconico, it's hard to not love this one! this is one of those no frills, thin bladed knife, perfection!

Yeah man it's an awesome piece I would say if you've held a drop point titanium framework then Then you might not enjoy this as much I think that we esprit It's a much better knife than this one it has a lot more frills and a lot of things that make it happier and a knife as an enthusiast Thanks so much for watching brother

Great review! I appreciate how concise this was. Definitely a cool knife, but IMO just a tad boring. If it was a super slicey blade I think I would be more into
So the design is a little bit boring and the blade is slicy enough it's not like TRM Adam style but it is A good slicing knife I think thanks so much for watching brother hope all is well in your end
Kizer T1 comes to mind.
That's a fair comparison and I think the T1 does some things that the old guard doesn't and it feels like the old guard is a more refined version of the t1 Thanks so much for watching dude greatly appreciated
Can't go wrong with just classy knife. Like no bells and whistles or anything. Just clean as hell. Only gripe is the clip cause it just looks a bit too wide but that could just be the camera. All around just a nice piece for like a dare I say somewhat gentlemens carry.
Hey dude yeah it's a super classy knife it definitely would Get any job done in my opinion and I think it's something that if you like ray laconico you're gonna love this knife
There are 2 versions of the Old Guard standard and V2 with inset lock message me for more info was not sure if you were aware of that.
I believe I saw one with a liner lock right? Was that the only difference?
@@EEDC inset lock makes the disengagement slick and easy ergo's are perfect, IMO I have one I can send you to check out also if you are looking for knives for review I have a Big collection fairly current let me know.
