Peter Griffin does a wonderful job conducting the orchestra.
Brad Smith "Peter Griffin", priceless. You have my LIKE, sir.
I guess playing piano isn't the only thing he's good at when he's drunk.
+Brad Smith You, sir, win the internet.
+Brad Smith Or Gabe Newell
HAHAHAA!!! I see what you mean.
As Lord Vader would say:
"Impressive, most impressive."
John Williams made the film industry's golden since 1977. TPM's still the best prequel till this day.
I swear John Williams will be remembered among the greats. Will probably turn up in a few history books even
Fish J.J. Fish among the greatest ever!
This version is actually at the right tempo, unlike the more popular video on RUclips. Much appreciated
Powerful performance. In the scale of 1 to 10, they have an 11. One of the best performances I have heard on YT on Duel of Fates
Agreed. definitely my favourite rendition besides the original done by Williams and the LSO. They really captured the the piece's intensity.
dude 11 out of 10 means -1 lol
+Corina Panganiban No. 11 *from* 10 equals -1.
11 _out_ _of_ 10 equals 110%
Great work, but I feel like there were a couple balancing issues within sections, and the choir was a little bleak, but true, one of the better performances.
I have to agree. It was I mean awesome without a doubt but not quite how I think it should be.
Many orchestras has played this theme, but anyone on the right tempo, just this. Bravo and well done.
agreed, i hate when it's rushed
true
I'm in love with, at least, 9 girls in that orchestra.
And what did you expect?
Welcome to Prague, the capital of the cutest women in the world.
Right!??
Me too bro, me too. ✊
Someone cries listening to this one? I do
Hmm I'm not moved by that music but still I got goosebumps, it's more listening to across the stars that I could cry, if I had to pick one
Nope.
There are times
Never fails to give me chills
vocals brings the ecessial power to the song !! pretty well done !!
I remember watching Phantom Menace thinking no way there’s no way the music will be memorable as the first trilogy. Then the lightsaber battle 🤯. John Williams is the goat
Absolutely amazing. No matter what others say, the prequels will have a place in my heart forever. Astounding motion pictures with phenomenal music.
Thank you! Somebody else who appreciates the prequels. I'm sorry but I love them. I like anything Star Wars. I guess I'm not a "real" fan. Some people need to chillax
+Anthony Starke Heh glad to know im not alone.
+TheDragonSmasher i don't like the prequels but the music is a master piece.
+TheDragonSmasher I also like the prequels, the might have plot holes, but are still great movies, specially the light saber fights. And I'm a huge Star Wars fan, I grew up with these movies .
+TheDragonSmasher Yes. I was watching TPM the other day, thinking "what is so horrible about it"... Other than Jar Jar anyway, but he's just a stupid side character, not the focus... Still a different league than TESB, but a fun movie with a great lightsaber fight in the climax.
Finally found one with the right tempo.
RIGHT?!
Feels like I was the dude from whiplash out here being like not my tempo
Unlucky missed at 0:18
1:44 the guy in the middle with the glasses = FINAL BOSS of internet
Never have I laughed more at a comment
How does this not have a million likes?
Bald, little tenor dude was gettin after it! And that timp roll at 2:28 was SICK!! This might be one of the best renditions of this piece I’ve ever heard.
Out of all the live performances on here I've watched...this is the best! Well done to all. Super talented musicians and conductor!
☺️ Thank you!
This has to be the best conducted version
The conductor REALLY UNDERSTOOD the tension and urge of this piece and it tells.
I felt he was rushed compared to other versions I've heard
@@d.a.thiewes7703 Because this is in the right tempo, unline the other performances on YT.
WOW! Great tempo!
love this version! the urgency was there
That would be A-MAZING to see Live. They played it at the proper speed. Hot damn that was AWESOME
Yeah, I’m just picturing a chase scene in a movie at this speed this music’s playing.
You all better stand up after that performance!
EXCELENT. thanks, greetings from Mexico.
Best live performance on yt. Many others are played at what feels like half speed. This performance captures the energy of the movie
Naprostá nádhera, musím si vás někdy jít poslechnout naživo!
A great composition + a great orchestra = human beings at our best :)
Thank you so much... John Williams... This is my alltime Favourite for Orchestral Music.. an absolutely Masterpiece-One Hit Wonder... 🎼🎼👌🏻
Seroiusly !! 🎼🤷🏼♂️👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you. ❤️🤩
I love this performance. It adds in what the original version sorely lacked: strong percussion :)
Yes.....but a strong, enunciated choir is sacrificed here.
@@iberius9937 I was going to say the same thing. I feel like the choir was a bit mushy and, in any case, poorly miked.
This is "THE BEST ORCHERSTRAL" Live Performance.... Ever... in the Star Wars History!!!!! No matter to the "older" songs in the universe, no thin' , they are absolutly great, but this one... blows my Mind.... Absolutly Great...🎼🎼✌️👍🏼
Panic, urgency, battle, desperation. The ultimate good vs evil symphony
They have eight horns!🥺🥺❤
Makes me want to whip out my double bladed light saber.
That part of the trailer sold the entire prequel for me. SW is back baby
@@ayf1983 And take a sip out of my taco bell Darth maul cup lid.
unkles collectors item
@@unkles Yo, I wanted this SO MUCH when I was a kid.
this is seriously pretty damn close to the real thing! 100% these guys deserved a standing ovation, absolutely killed it. Duel Of Fates, my favourite piece of music of all time!
The best one in youtube
good tempo great great job
Star Wars music is incomparable!
I won't lie. There's alot of attractive people in this orchestra.
Czech Republic
pure awesomeness
No One:
The class when the teacher goes to the bathroom in the middle of a zoom call:
Still one of my favorite performances of this piece
No puedo dejar de ver este vídeo, me fascina la pasión con que tocan cada instrumento, la canción y el coro. Se me eriza la piel!!
x2
Super tight rhythm!! Something other videos interpreting this piece don't seem to quite get
It’s easy piece yet very hard at the same time. It’s too many pieces and connecting pieces which even slight delay in solo or section can mean complications. It’s not easy piece to play live without clix in my opinion - conductor
It never ceases to amaze me the beauty that people can create when we come together, beautiful performance
Of all of the live-orchestra-performance videos of Duel of this Fates, this one features the most majestic concert hall -- and that definitely adds considerably to the overall effect. The hall even features reddish accents in the woods and walls -- a Sith hue. Pity the choir isn't large/strong enough to make a sufficiently powerful impression. Not a bad orchestra, though.
I was born '79, so i know a lot of Star Wars Songs, with my B+W Sound-System, also!! But... this one... this is something special... wich will be never reached again... my heartfully thanks to this Orchestral-Sound-Masterpiece... in the Star-Wars Saga!!!! Thank You John... ;)
love watching the strings section during performances. it's amazing how in sync all their bows are
they got to be or the sound is slightly different.
The repeat button gives goosebumps
I was there... absolutly stuning!
*One of the best performance I have seen among many, great job to everyone 👍*
OMFG!!! The choirmaster is MY music teacher o.O!
Isn't he the conductor?
Genialne i mocne wykonanie!!!
Brawo!
Pozdrowienia z Polski.
that snare big drummer is playing his ass off! damn good :)
YES THANK YOU FELLOW PERCUSSIONIST
Love the tempo.
Great Performance!
4:18 - guy behind the conductor (first row), wiping a tear from his face before starting to clap. Pretty much summarizes my feelings
FLAWLESS.
All trougth the years... amazing!!! So much thhanks!!!
So close. This would have been perfect but the choir needed a lot more umph, the bass and drums easily overpowered them.
+Matoi Ryuko Oh look, a weeaboo that this he knows everything!
+vavra222 oh look, someone who knows proper grammar.
PoTrElE Welp, 1 mistake and thats basically all you could hang on to. How smart.
+PoTrElE Thank you.
Whiteknight alert!
i am convience the conductor is a sith for the tempo is fast. still like it though
I was thinking the same thing, it feels like its a few beats faster than the original. Like they seriously blitzed through this song
I love this song very much!
ひさと缶バッジくん 👍
I like the Prague Orchestra much more than the London Orchestra when performing this piece. It's probably because I've heard Prague first but the Prague Orchestra sounds much more dramatic and really fits in with the movie scenes.
Such a great work. Best performance that i've heard on "Duel of the fates".
Goosebumps every time. Best version on YT by far.
a long long time ago...in a galaxy far far away. May the force be with you. :)
This rocks !!
Gives me goosebumps, powerful. Mr. John Williams is a genius.
I wondered where it went some days ago. Good to have it back, many thanks. Simply great!
im...not crying..
im just happy....
;--; !
by far the best live rendition of this wonderful piece. keep it up. :)
it doesn't matter how bad the movie was. this song is a modern masterpiece.
When humans get together for good things is incredible what they can accomplish! What a stunning performance!
You can feel the rage coming out your pores while listening to this wonderful piece of art.
The choir should be louder a little bit. Other than that is spectacular!
I think they just weren't properly miked for the recording.
@@roberto8650 I agree, this was a concert so it wasn't really performed in an ideal recording setup
Best performance on youtube, out of a total of 4 already watched.
+May04bwu Si!
One of the best interpretations . congratulations bandstand
These guys made me proud!
Awesome !!!! Just wonderful
Как я долго не мог найти!! Всё переслушал сто раз. Обожаю !!! Бомба просто класс!!! Браво бис!!!)
An amazing rendition. Simply it.
Amazing!!! And loads of fit girls too! Bonus 👍
Great interpretación.Strngth and charisma.I´m still aplauden.Bravo!
Amazing love this
Simply perfect !
Still great. The speed is unique. He is the only one who clocks it so fast. I love it =)
Excelente interpretación, 10/10!!
só podia ser John Williams para fazer algo tão bonito e emocionante. Ele conseguiu traduzir clima de uma batalha. Realmente épico !
Absolutely gorgeous
Amazing
Beautiful performance!
Great orchestra and great music
For all you timpanists out there, the notes to the solo at the end are "e", "d", "A", "e", "d", "A", "e", all but the last being eighth notes. The note capitalization indicates the octave.
Definitely one of the better YT performances of this piece. I would like more power to the choir. But in general, well done, this is a lot of fun.
superb !!!
Outstanding
That's the stuff! Thanks for the video.
This music makes me feel absolutely powerful!
Sigh...music. the universal HUMAN language. Nice one Prague. Dominant and powerful.
This must be really tiring to play! (Look at how fast they have to move to keep up!)
Absolutely amazing.
Plasticcaz try Vivaldi Summer 3rd Movement and watch it by Nigel Kennedy, see how the violinists try to catch up the speed of note changes....
I mean compared to this without disrespect to John Williams...
Brilliant, just brilliant!
