Just did this yesterday. I highly recommend removing the side panels for greater debris exposure. Also, take the fan off and vacuum out and debris that may have collected on the bottom of the inside. Can also blast water from the inside out on the coils that way as well.
Thank you for all those suggestions! I’m going to do a more thorough cleaning from the inside at some point. But for a quick clean the outside spray down does a good job.😊
For homeowners its fine cleaning them that way. Dont start tearing the thing apart . Start bending blades screw through the coil. Just how she did it. Thats fine
Well, when my beloved husband of 30 years died tragically and unexpectedly, I was left to take care of all of the household tasks myself. Turns out there’s a lot of other widows doing their best to manage all the things that their husbands used to do as well. I’m sorry that offends you. For the record, we’re not too thrilled about it either. So, unless you want to take care of all the “man tasks” that widows and single women need to manage, I suggest you step aside while we get things done. 💪 Thanks for watching!
Ok that works too! I just didn’t want people to use a pressure washer full blast thinking they would get it good and clean not realizing how easily the fins can bend. 😁👍
@ryanetotherescue that's precisely what I am saying... the minute you use coil cleaners on it,,, you've just ruined it... at the most i use simple green... but correct,,, don't use the fitting you'd use for to clean concrete with... Anyway,,, I don't use coil cleaners because they attack the aluminum

You bet!
Great advice! ❤
Glad you think so!
Best to do it from the inside out
Yes, I’ll do a video of that some time. 😊👍
Do I turn the AC off.
No, you don’t have to turn the A/C off first. 😊👍
I would recommend turning it off
Thank you for your input!! 😊
Do I need to be certified to do this for other people
I wouldn’t think so if you’re just hosing it off from the outside. 😊👍
