STRAIGHTEN A CROOKED DOOR IN MINUTES! // Simple Technique With EZ-SHIM Pre-cut Door Shims!
EZ-SHIM
amzn.to/3Vo0D9M
In this video I show you a quick, simple fix to repair a door that won't latch. If your door is crooked, misaligned or it won't stay closed, just loosen the hinge a little bit and slide in an EZ-SHIM or two, or three, and your door will be realigned in no time!! I also included cards that you can click during the video which will show you how to use a drill driver, just in case you are new to power tools. Often the foundation of houses settles and shifts over time which can make the doors stick and not close or open properly. Thankfully there are these pre-cut shims that work perfectly!!

After watching your video you e given this 62 the courage to work in those projects I want to do and my main thing was how to attach the blade guard assembly. Even though mines is different, I hope I can follow your directions to install the guard. Thank you so much.

@@ryanetotherescue I had a question and I apologize if you have discussed this already, but in the manual for the RTS23 pg 21 it talks about changing the Riving Knife positions. When you took the blade off, you talked about putting that back on and tightening it, but in my manual it’s not about tightening it, but a different position. Up being for through cutting and down, being for non-through cutting. Would love to hear your thoughts on this or a link to where you might have already done this. Thanks in advance!

Not sure if anyone is run into this, but my depth kept changing. It was annoying and I found out the screw that secures the black latch needed to be a bit tighter. Since it wasn't tight enough, the bit depth would drop during use. There's a small allen key to tighten it. Tighten it until you can't move the depth guide, then loosen it just enough until it comes free.

What a wonderful presentation! You should make a video teach people how to make a presentation! In the words of Joe Friday from the old Dragnet tv series,... All we need are just the facts, ma'am." . I am 75 years old and always loved to build things, but due to kids, grandkids and career, I never really had the time to really learn the things I needed to do, nor did I have the tools I needed.
