Not all Dividend cuts are a bad thing

@@killersentra Then tell me why its bad? Shell is in a much better position after their dividend cut than 2020
@@BrainTimeOutyou’re missing the point. Dividend is an indication of company health. That they cut means the company is bleeding profusely. But they had to amputate. So if you’re a holder, things are worse off. But maybe you can invest now. But point is, it would have been better with no cut because that means the company is healthy.
This is an indication of dividend not 100% guaranteed. This cut is extremely devastating for people who are about to retire or in their retirement phase. I am still holding onto it since this company will eventually back to normal after all the legal issue subsided.
I would recomend nordic miming (nom) they have the sole responsebility when it comes to Norwegian phosfate miming
They just resantly said ther is close to or more then 70 billion tons og phosfate on Norwegian soil
I would recomend reading up on this
Dividend kings fall one by one. Walgreens, VFC, LEG, etc. this has made me rethink the dividend king strategy and shorten my criteria to 5 years dividend growth for my screener.

Got out last April for a 17% gain I liked 3M but as my account is still quite small I’d rather put that capital into a company I believe would grow more than 3M in the future

I sold my position yesterday with a good profit. As a dividend investor 3M with this lowish dividend after the cut doesn't fit anymore in my strategy. Good luck to longs.

The cut was going to happen sooner or later
I'm sure they know when it cut down from 130 well ahead of time I'm happy to walk away with what I did. Not making a penny. Not at $20 either.

I recently sold. Bought the dip and added more to my portfolio when they had the spin off, so I got a nice profit out of it
