- Welcome to the Ultimate Guide to Choosing the Perfect Fishing Kayak! If you're passionate about fishing and looking to enhance your experience on the water, you've come to the right place. In this comprehensive video, I will provide you with all the essential information you need before buying a fishing kayak. #fishingkayak #kayakbuying #kayakselection
From different types of fishing kayaks such as sit-on-top, sit-inside, and pedal-driven options, to the various factors you should consider when making your purchase decision, I've got you covered. I will discuss the importance of stability, durability, storage capacity, weight, and comfort, ensuring that you end up with a kayak that perfectly matches your preferences and needs.
I will share valuable insights, tips, and recommendations to help you make an informed choice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, I will explore the key features and accessories that can truly elevate your fishing adventures.
Today I will be giving you my TOP things to consider when buying your first fishing kayak. I have been kayak fishing for over 10 years and have owned multiple kayaks. I have bought them new and used. I love watching videos and researching all the new rigs and set-ups.
I remember how I felt when I started looking at kayaks. I wasn't sure if they were so unstable that I would stay wet and lose all my tackle. I thought they would be hard to fish out of. I wondered about comfort - would my back like sitting all day in a kayak. Where would I store my tackle? I had been used to bass boats and jon boats. For those people new to kayaking, I know it can be overwhelming. I hope that my insight can be helpful, and if you have any questions let me know, and I will do my best to answer. I will give you the TOP 5, plus throw in an extra consideration.

Seems like very solid advice for choosing your fishing kayak. Also liked you how linked to the video for people who might want to be a used one.
Very informative, thanks man!
You're welcome!
I bought a NuCanoe U10. Waiting on parts to come in on Monday. Hopefully next weekend will be the first time I take it out. I have a trolling motor for it but I think I’m not taking it the first time I go.
@@GeorgiaKayakAngler just looked that one up - NICE!!!!
There is nothing like kayak fishing! Enjoy!
@@TheOutdoorNavigator I have a tracker bass boat also. I believe I’ll be selling it in the near future
@GeorgiaKayakAngler I sold my bass boat a couple years ago. I miss it at times, but kayak fishing is so much simpler.
@@TheOutdoorNavigator I know I’ll miss it but I’m so excited just to get out there all alone on a kayak
I live in da hood so I drag mine inside the house. My trailer is outside but I’m not leaving my kayak outside. Luckily mine is light.
@GeorgiaKayakAngler I hear that. It's a shame that people have to take those kind of precautions.
@@TheOutdoorNavigator yes it is! So aggravating
Works great in the den to put your feet on while watching tv
Please ,A Kayak is not a Boat!
