We were there in the DR Aug 15-20th! Went deep sea fishing too and the waves were terrible then. We did catch a few mahi mahi. My son who has been before was so sick. Even took Dramamine before hand. We stayed at Royalton and it was very busy with guests but there was a lack of keeping people occupied with things to do. We were visiting a different language speaking country so I know it's our issue but same with lack of English! I choose cruises over all-inclusive. We also were told not to venture out much so we didn't. I like to tour around so probably won't be visiting there again. I too am a Royal Caribbean fan. Enjoy your videos.
I think you’re being too harsh on Carnival Cruise Line! Their newer ships are very nice and they’re 7+ days cruises cater to a different clientele. They’re more similar to Royal/Norwegian than you think. Out of curiosity, When was the last Carnival cruise you took, what ship, and was is a 3-5 day or 7/8?
Thank you!! They did have a lot of vegetarian options, at each restaurant they asked you if you had any allergies or dietary restrictions and then helped make accommodations. I also don't drink. :)
@@freedominabudget it’s not an options thing (vegetarian options are available pretty much anywhere), it’s a cost value thing. Vegetarian food is ALWAYS the cheapest thing on the menu- so ordering ala carte saves me money compared to all inclusive.

If you book your stay directly from the hotel website then transportation is included, you just need to set it up! (This alone saves you a couple hundred dollars)

Comparing Carnival and Spirit is an unfair comparison. Carnival provides amazing customer service and is always an amazing time.

Kelly that’s a pretty blouse on you!!! I have been to all inclusive resorts, but as a vegetarian that doesn’t drink it’s never a value for me.

It was included in the resort cost because we booked directly through their website.
