The rate at which 9 got powerups is way to fast. So in otherwords the skinny weak ass 9 that got destroyed completely in round 1 lost round 2 comes back with plot armour for round 3. 9 is the protagonist of most shounen at this point

Then the real story becomes what the Kaiju truly are since we don't know that and how to turn Kafka back. We could continue to follow Reno and kikoru like we have been as they try to save Kafka with minas help. I only say this because it was worth noting how much time we've spent away from Kafka and with all the side characters.
