@Sherwin Arizobal , In the end I managed to install Windows 8. But the sound problem persisted, I still haven't found a solution except through the external speaker..
@Sherwin Arizobal I forgot to mention that I installed Windows 8 on an Imac mid 2011 without bootcamp. It was quite difficult but I managed, and it works very well.
How does take for you?
Know this is a year late lol, but make sure you reboot your VM after finishing the commands. i was stuck just a moment too until i restarted vm
